PT Day 2, 3, and 4

Yeah so I didn't update every day I did this, so here's another one of those posts that catches up on the slack.
Anyways, my PT track is coming along, I'll probably have a beta done by the end of this weekend. Now it's a matter of filling up some gaps before going through the specs phase. I know what kinds of scenes I want to fill the spots, it's just a matter of finding/making them. I think I might do a short bit of rotoscoping since I don't think I'm going to able to find the scene I want, plus I want to apply all the things metro taught me that one day a few weeks ago. It's only about 3 seconds worth, but I'd still like to try it now instead of waiting to do it in my big summer project.
Concerns with my track right now would be scene selection and flow. Getting this story across in a very short amount of time is rather tricky, so I'll see what I can do. Surely I'll be working on it tomorrow, so yeah, we'll see what happens. -
PT Day 1

So I finally started to do some editing today. After lots of ripping and so forth, I got down to the nitty gritty, and ended up getting a lot done. I suppose when you wait around with the concept in your head for months, it doesn't take much to get you rolling. Once again I'm using a limited amount of footage since one of the characters the piece focuses around dies in the 6th episode. So far I like the way things are turning out, and after some long hours of editing, it's finally time to hit the sack. Besides, I have a couple scene selections and some mental storyboarding to do before I get started again. I'm just worried with APs for the next two weeks if I'm ever going to get another chance to edit. I mean I probably will, and as long as I think about it for a while, I'll be able to execute the idea a bit more quickly. I have until June to get it done, but I'd like to get some feedback before I just submit it.
Apparently the competition is supposed to be fierce for this MEP, lots of big names and apparently people have got some high quality stuff up their sleeves. We'll see how it goes.
ICI is May 13th, and I already submitted my song. Hopefully this will turn out to be good times too. -

Got back from Myrtle Beach, SC today. Definitely had a friggin amazing time. We played great teams, got to know each other better, and got wicked tans. Life is good.
I <3 Charger Softball - Lost Ones @ AB 2006-04-10 20:14:07 So Lost Ones got into the top 6 vids of the drama category for AnimeBoston. It ended up being one of six vids pulled from the 30 in the category. Definitely cool that it's a finalist, I just wanted it to be at that con so my Rhode Island friends could possibly have a chance to see it XD I suppose that worked out pretty neatly :D
