PT Days 9 and 10

A few days ago I finished the third beta of the PT track. Sent it in to the bosses and they said everything was looking fine, so I'm done editing that. I just need to get the huffy ready to send in and then I should be set to go. I've learned some new things so I'd say this has been a good experience regardless of whether I get in or not.
Culminating is almost done and school ends on Friday. Unfortunately softball is over as well. We lost in the regional semi-finals to Powhatan 1-0. I'm moving in less than a month. Everything is going so fast, it's frickin krazy.
Prepping footage for this video...we'll see what happens. -

PT Days 6, 7, and 8

Here's another one of those multiple day catch up posts.
Over the course of the last week or so I finished my beta, sent it in, got some criticism, made a second beta, sent it in, got more criticism, and am now in the process of making a third. I love trying out the different suggestions they give me, learning new techniques and so forth. I wish I could see some other betas for the project, I've only seen one other. But yeah, I've just been working on it a lot, hopefully it'll turn out alright.
I tried doing the rotoscoping in AE, but some reason it didn't work out, plus it was late when I was doing it, so I just gave it a shot on photoshop. I definitely haven't given up with AE, because I'm going to try it again soon, that night was just a bad night to try and do it. -
PT Day 5

Okay so like usual I'm taking a little more time than I had expected with my segment. Fortunately, I only have one more scene to finish off until I get into Phase 2, aka the nitpicky stage. Even if I don't get into the project, I still need this segment for school, so hopefully it turns out well. Like I said earlier, I only have one more scene to finish up, and the reason why I'm waiting to do it is because I want to try some rotoscoping. My lack of footage combined with my curiosity of the technique is making me want to see how this works, and how I can make it work for the video. Metro explained the whole process to me a while back, and walked me through AE. I've been anxious to give it a shot, so we'll see how it turns out. Plus I'm sort of using it just to test the waters before wanting to go all out with my summer project :o
It's awfully hard editing during the week :( I need to do my ICI track sometime this week as well. Hmm...gummi bears...
