It's been a while since I've had a serious/logical entry about amv junk, so I suppose I'm due for one. I have actually been editing. :p
Finally out of school and into summer break, so of course the editing has ensued. The only thing keeping me from editing more is my social life (not that this is necessarily a bad thing) and a minimal amount of sleep. This will change in a few weeks when I start working again, but for now I have the nights to edit.
Anyways, as far as projects go, I'd like to have something new by the Pro deadline next month, but I'm not sure if that's going to happen. I don't have all of my source, and this will probably take a while. Even though the editing will be simplistic in nature, the concept is something that is going to have to be worked and refined if I want to come across correctly. Also, as much as I like deadlines for their ability to keep me on track, I don't feel like having to rush this one. We'll see what happens though.
To be honest, the main reason I'm not working on a Pro video is because I'm doing another project which is most definitely top priority. Even though it's out in the open, everything still feels kind of hush hush about it. A lot of factors have turned this into the most exciting and most ambitious thing I've ever gotten to edit. We're starting to get into the more difficult sections though, so hopefully our spirits stay up and our motivation stays high, and things go the way we're envisioning them. There's something about collabing that heightens every emotion you get when you're working on a project, and the drive is so intense, because you know you're doing this for more than yourself.
