For some reason or another, I feel inclined to post something amv related in this every so often. Maybe because it's my amv journal? I don't know. Either way, here we go.
I haven't started a solo video since the one I made for acen. My mind's bounced back and forth quite a bit on whether to make something or not for one of AWA's contests. I have yet to start anything, so I guess that means I'm not, unless I randomly whip up something for Expo, but I doubt that'll happen. Lack of a solo vid doesn't mean I haven't been editing at all though. The Journey into Synch MEP deadlines will be creeping up shortly, but right now I'm totally focused on the track I'm working with Aerialesque on for Ayumix2. We're making progress, and it's just really been fun, even though frustrating at times, but we're learning a lot, so I don't think I could ask for more. 27 more days until that's due.
Even though I actually haven't started editing a new individual project, I have started ripping for one. Well, two actually, though the one I know I won't do for a while. Just wanted to get the footage onto my comp before I go to university. It'll be interesting to see how much time I have for editing once school starts. We'll see what happens though. The idea I have now seems fairly ambitious for me, probably will take forever, but oh well. I kind of like having the idea of just doing one big thing rather than a lot of mini-projects. I'll probably end up doing something a little on the quicker side before the year is up, just something short and fun (for me, not the genre >>) most likely.
But yeah, all I really care about now is finishing this collab track, but it'd be a lie to say I haven't been trying to get these solo project ideas out of my head. There's one big thing hindering me from starting that though, so we'll just see if I can keep that up until the end of this month.
Hmmm...well, we'll see how it goes. -
