  • It's been too long. 2007-11-12 17:02:18 I haven't done anything AMV related in a while, probably because this is my junior year in high school and i have no time. When school started i was in the middle of my Gundam Wing AMV that i had planned to have finished in July. I'm hopping to pick that back up on my Thanksgiving break and finish in time to up load it when i go back to school. It has some work left to do because I'm really nit picky about making this the bes Gundam Wing AMV on the site. Its a hard anime to work with considering the age and all the shots that are used over and over again. It was supposed to chronical the battles of Hero and Wing Gundam(01) / Wing 0 (Gundam 00) in order as they appear in the show. But after i got into the process of making it i realized that Hero only fights a battle against one other specific person other than Zex for a prolonged period of time and i didn't want to the video to feel like it was jumping around without a sense of direction. So i decided just to forgo the battle with Wu Fei and make the last part of the video just the final battle with Zex. I still need to add some footage and get some of the timing and effects right as well as add credits at the end. Its hard though because Magix is pretty limited in it's special effects.

  • Death Note TV Premier 2007-09-26 16:00:19 Good news for all you penny-less anime fans out there, me included. The anime DEATH NOTE will be premiering on Saturday October 30, 2007(Morning of Sunday if you want to be all technical) on the Cartoon Network. I believe it is to come on some time between 12 and 1:30(AM).

    I personally have wanted to see that anime for years but alas, until recently, there is no one airing the series on standard Cable and I have no money to buy it.

    This great news and no surprise considering some of the other great anime that cartoon network has picked up recently.(Naruto, Bleach, etc.)

    I look forward to a new series and you should too.

  • Update 2007-08-22 16:39:59 I have started a new vid using one of my favorite Anime of all time, Gundam Wing. It should be my best vid so far seeing as I am putting much more effort into working on it, however it is not even a fourth of the way done and I need to revise some of the earlier sections.
    I am using a song that as of now no one has used yet. I'm not gonna post that however because I don't want anyone with more time on their hands to beat me to it.
    My goal is to make it the best gundum wing AMV yet which shouldn't be that difficult if I just spend time refining it. Any one who has watched the show knows that there is not much there to work with seeing as the anime its self reuses about 25 or so of the same animations through out the entire series.
    Hope to have that done by Christmas but that is probably a little ambitious.(Probably more like February or March) 
  • Trailer 2007-04-26 10:05:05 I had to scrap my Naruto AMV for the time being because of technical issues and I decided to start on something new.

    I have started on a trailer that I made using the extended special ending sequence from Final Mix 2+. I used the song Believe by Disturbed and it wound up matching the vid pretty nicely. I'm lucky it did because every edit in the vid was on the fly guess work. I had to export the thing every time I wanted to check the timing because the time line in the program I'm using didn't match the timing after export.

    Any ways, I'll be posting it by the end of the day today and it will be available for download by Saturday.

  • Sux 2007-04-18 15:55:17 I will not be able to release my next vid as soon as I thought because my editing program is exporting weird.

    I use Magix Movie Edit Pro 12 and when I export my vid's timing get out of sequence. It matched up on the time-line, why not when I export.

    If you know something about this or have had the same problem contact me. I'm pretty sure I put my Email in my profile if not its in one of my other 2 journal entries.
