AAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!
2001-11-04 23:06:13
I register for classes on Tuesday afternoon. I need one more class, preferably at the 300 or 400 level. My major is Military History. I have 3 of my 4 classes down. I do not know the 4th class to take.
http://www.sis.umd.edu/bin/soc?term=200201&crs=DEPT is the URL for the classes offered next semester at my University. Help me pick a class. The restrictions are:
1. Nothing under the 300 level please. While I'm taking some lower level courses right now, they're either requirements at that level or so on.
2. What I'm taking now: GERM202 (10AM M,W-F), HIST220 (Tue 10AM), and a class at another school TU/TH which is 4-5:15PM, but I need at least an hour to get there, so nothing on those days that ends after 2PM please.
3. Other interests are media/film, stuff related to military or german, the arts, etc.
4. No I don't want to take dance, math, or a science (including comp sci). I've more than filled my requirements for these classes and hate them thoroughly.
If you've got advice either email or post in your journal. Thanks a bunch!

another one to yoshi...

to mis-quote ddr, your sarcasm is like sunshine on a cloudy day!
*sheesh*
to everyone else, what's going on in my world?
Been procrastinating on some papers and stuff...most of it'll be taken care of on time tho so all is good. Hell, i can probably whip out one paper to turn in tomorrow after I get back from anime society tonite. How hard is it to write up a 3 page paper on some a capella groups when I took 6 pages of notes, huh?
Gotta prepare for my next song for music class too. I'm doing Kimi ni Todoke from Fire Bomber, and while yes it's written for Mylene, she sings lower than Basara does and closer to my range. That reminds me that I have to take the sheet music to TAS tonite and romanize it all for the poor accompanyist.
Made some more edits to the Katsucon video. It's looking to be shaping up to be something special (or at least i hope so.) Comments from those who have seen early versions have been positive overall, and the criticism given so far has been extremely helpful and constructive (Many props to Nightowl and Icechai!). The current worktime is three months, and if I'm lucky it'll be done by Thanksgiving. Otherwise, I'll have to hold out until after finals and try to mass work on it the days before I go back to work.
I may end up getting expensive Cabaret tickets...it's a great show and to see it on New Year's Eve will definately kick ass from the orchestra seating. I guess I'll hold off on buying tickets until I've actually seen the theatre tho, which'll be in 13 days when I go to see RENT.
Classes. Long Long Classes. Everything due monday is finished (at least that needs to be turned in.) The goal is to now be done for Tuesday (which is mostly there as well - just gotta finish revising my paper on why the DMCA sucks. If anyone knows how to footnote a Deposition using Chicago/Turabian style, please email me, for it would be extremely useful.)
So anyways, I gotta go eat before TAS...I should probably bring some sort of homework with me for during Arjuna. Mebbe that's when I'll work on the sheet music. Can't do my proofreading aloud (which is actually required in my english class) in the middle of a library. In the meantime, DNA, Rayearth, Hana Yori Dango, and Excel Saga willingly await.
Oyeah, and Yoshi, if you're as damn good as you think you are, bring your ass to Katsucon. You may prove useful.

aw hell
2001-11-02 21:54:02
tickets for cabaret are already on sale. entertainment-related purchases this month to date:
8 Harry Potter tickets (all but 2 getting repaid since i owe someone for cels): $66
Rush seat for RENT on nov 17: $20
Cabaret Ticket (yet to book): $30 (hopefully...)
i want to get a really nice seat for cabaret - it's one of my favorite shows - but $60 for a non-union tour? ouch. at least rent has the rush tickets. i should call the theatre and ask if they have rush seats on cabaret too...then i wouldn't have to worry so much.
and still editing and editing.
and a certain someone still has not showed his face on AIM yet.
