stuff is looking to be going well for katsucon, i got money today for guinea pigging, AND to top it off I won 2 of the Blue Gender OSTs on eBay today for a great price.
now if only my back stopped hurting... -

In other news, most of my classes this semester are fairly dull. German's a lot of fun, and I really like the instructor. Nazi history's OK, but cna be a bit dry. Writing seminar has interesting topics (which reminds me that I need to get some cash to make photocopies for it) but the work will suck. Old Norse is OK, but drags while we're still having things explained.
French Revolution is the most insanely boring class I am taking this semester. I can barely stay awake for it and the readings are just as dull as the lectures.
In fact, the only thing keeping me from falling asleep in class is the fact that i'm in semi-severe and near-constant pain and moving my legs, sitting, standing, laying down, walking, bending, etc. hurts. It's been this way for a few days now and I should probably see a doctor about it or something. In the meantime, I quote the princess bride: "Life is pain, highness. Anyone who says differently is selling something." -

finished the rough cut of katsu panel vid 2...vic said that it seemed a letdown after the other stuff i've been cranking out lately and he's right. i've tweaked some, need to go back to the dvd's and rerip a few bits.
at least luck was on my side for mp3 searching - finally found a copy of the full length version of the macross m3 opening on some chinese mp3 dump. this song rocks. -

Got into a class to replaced the cancelled sociology...French Revolution and Napoleon. I've actually got it in an hour, I just hope the prof's not as boring usually as he was last time. If nothing else, it fulfills a military history requirement and there's 4 guys from Strat Theory in there.
Katsucon Panel Project #2 is in progress.
Picked up the first issue of the bebop manga yesterday and the first 3 issues of the nightcrawler limited series. Bebop's good but reads extremely fast - 5 minutes for $3...kind of a letdown. Nightcrawler was worth every penny though - it's returned my faith in marvel.
Anyways, time to make lunch and head back out the door. I need to buy batteries, as the riovolt seems to be eating through them pretty regularly...for some reason I think it's stuck on 120sec buffering, as those are the only 2 options in the settings for mp3 buffer. I'll have to ask someone who's much more knowledgable about the volt than I am for info about this sort of thing...
