I never write music reviews. EVAR... I thought 8/10 was just fine for the songs that sound fine...
[but nooo, since everyone does awesome mp3 compression for their amvs, they all want and must HAVE 10s!!!]
Fine j00 fuckers, I'll give you your 10s, however, your punishment for such demands will be quite severe... My tastes in music are narrow. I'm not just a dance song lover though. Some of my fav music vids use slower music like Enigma's Gravity of Love or Enya's Book of Days... But, if your song sounds fine, OK I'LL GIVE IT A 10...

I keep remembering that reviewable counts as a HUGE factor in the scoring scale and if I do this, I was afraid people would start to hate me. But I guess people hated my generous 8 for sound and 6 for review [which is already pretty damn harsh...]

Time for a little rant, though I should put this in the "private" part of my journal, I think it's best to just "vent"...
I don't read entire posts that people write to sound smart. Therefore, if I sound somewhat "lacking" in my counterpoint, it's because of that. Why should I read it? Why should I even be on the org? Everything gets misinterpreted, I'd rather be misinterpreted [and funny] then be serious. ESPECIALLY on an internet forum. Once again...

The eliteists, why are these people hated? No way I can associate with them since I never really won any awards and my name is still practically non-existant, yet somehow, I'm getting associated with these "hated" people.
My vote: these "eliteists" are shunning n00bs. Such is the law of nature. The weak get smashed by the strong. Repeatedly. These "Eliteists" have every right to say that "your vid sucks". They know what they're doing. If they told me that my vids sucks, I'll just say, "What can I do to fix it?" Thankfully, these eliteists almost always will say, "Your vid sucks BECAUSE OF ....................." If not, there ARE other "eliteists" you can talk to. No reason to be "shamed". Hey, we're humans! If someone says your vid sucks and like, has no backup... aka no vids, no "experience", then he's just a fan... [and we know how good a fan's word is compared to a creator...] However, there are awesome fans out there with HUGE ops... They are people to LISTEN HARD to. Mutual respect for fan and creator alike...
Me personally, I LOVE listening to other creators. They, above all else, know what I'm going through. I love opinionating creators, n00b and what not. I KNOW what they go through...

Damn, I want to be an "eliteist". I want to be the one who earns the crowd's respect and admiration. I want to be the one qualified to say what can help a video and what can hurt a video.
