After watching 3 new ones... I'm still NEVAR disappointed by the good ones...
One's ingenuity and endurance can truely be tested with this method of Video Editing...
It's only my opinion but AMVs these days are reaching a limit...
The MAD for me seems limitless. What REALLY sux is that my mind has placed these limits on me since I was "born" an amv editor.
How to "evolve" to that status seems nearly impossible. A Shueishiga MAD editor would probably look at the amv editor that is me and laugh at my simplicity... [muaahahahahah bwahahahahah]
My opinion is to be ignored by you all... Save the few who have some notion of what I'm talking about...
"MADs are just fx..." is what about 99% of the idiots will be seeing...
I want to go beyond those idiots and reach the few that see visual innovation and epic ART so to speak...
Art is something to live, something to behold. It isn't good that one has to think hard or understand certain things. "Ignorance is bliss?" Well yes? Why not? Live life knowing what's right and ignoring what's wrong? One of the reasons why I never do "negative emotion" amvs. Very low levels of "realistic violence" and "sadness inducing" footage. Dance upbeat fun and Romance. That is my soul!
The MAD will be a new step. A new journey. To be n00bed once more... ^_^ Yep, me be foolish. But, one anime made me realize that the happy idiot is living life much more fully than the smart miser. Scrapped Princess ep 15:

Yes, I know I'm just BARELY scratching its surface...

But now that I have the "Keys to the Kingdom" [as the AE Bible says] I'm now overwhelmed with what can be done and what tricks to play with...
I'm in n00bland all over again!
I can see why it's so freakin' easy to control motion in AE... One of the true reasons MADs use AE I see it now. You can do lots of neat Motion stuff in Premiere and it's easier in Premiere. I know now that it's easier cause it's not nearly as "precise and controlled" as AE...
