Stunned beyond words...

On MexicanJunior's Review of Digital_Dojo (Double D):
"RVP - What type of AMV's do you most enjoy doing/watching? Action, comedy, Drama, etc...
Digital_Dojo - Action, comedy, Drama, etc... I believe I already answered this one. I perfer upbeat, dance style videos. They are my favorite to make and to watch..."
[Wow that's nice. Me too! ^_^]
"RVP - Which AMV creators do you respect most?
Digital_Dojo - First and foremost, Kevin Caldwell, Daune Johnson and William Milberry. Without them I don't think the amv world would be what it is. I also have much respect for Omnistrata. My whole amv style is inspired by his Feel the Rhythm series. He is my favorite current creator I must say..."
[WHOO HOO!]
"RVP - What kind of future projects do you have in the works?
Digital_Dojo - Nothing is offical yet, but I have a few ideas. I want to do a video tribute to Omnistrata's Feel the Rhythm series. That would probably be my next project, although I am tossing around an idea for a Sailor Moon video. Being that the video that started this whole obsession in me was a Sailor Moon video, it really seems fitting..."
[OH OH! SHOW ME SHOW ME! I REALLY WANNA SEE! ^_^]
Wow. Again, I'm not sure what to say except, "thanks". I'm definitely looking forward to more of your videos in the future.
If you liked "Feel the Rhythm", wait till you see "I've - Got to Dance"...
Moonlight Vengeance Progress: Nothin' yet. I just woke up. Downloadin' the "Crawlin' - Angel Links" video from Ninja Cracker on my poor 56k. I've NEVER seen an Angel Links video before. EVER. I just hope the Linkin' Park choice of music doesn't kill it for me. :( From what I've seen of the vid so far [I love the fact you can play partial mpgs] I'm not disappointed. (34%)
I'll give updates on how far Moonlight Vengeance is goin'. I seem to have trouble getting the video AND AUDIO footage from a DivX file into premiere. Hmmmm. It plays fine if I choose "open clip". But when I drag-and drop, I can't drop an episode OR EVEN a clip from it. I was intent on using a scene with Kagome crying, leave the subs in, and the audio for effect. (not part of the vid. just the ending) The video imports fine, but the audio becomes a series of a few small clicks! WTF IS GOIN' ON!
Must I export the video with uncompressed audio! :( That'd be bad.
Can anyone help me?

Ok... The home stretch!
2002-07-07 21:48:45
ALRIGHT!
Now there's only the 41 second intro and about 40 seconds of instrumental to fill.
Wow. I think this may be the "fastest" constructed "Feel the Rhythm" video at just under 3 weeks.
^_^
I only hope that my creativity holds out till then...
NOT... ^_^
I just saw a small bunch of lip-synchro gag vids and I must say that I am impressed...
I've got those DVine[Luv] Raws and maybe I could lipsynch those...

I am the magic, Dance with me...

If all goes well, I only need to fill the lyricless holes at beginning and toward the end of "Moonlight Vengeance".
I'll probably have the vid up sometime next week.
DAMN I'M QUICK...
With the end of FtR, I'll probably hop back on "Full On" and give it that update I so harped on about.
Well, time to start fillin' holes. With all the instrumentals found in songs I've done, I think I've mastered the trix to it...

40% done!
2002-07-04 21:57:49
ALRIGHT! I've got darn near ALL the lyrics synched with footage. Now that I do a file check, I barely need 10 eps to make this video!
:/
It's lookin' good. This vid will probably be my very first XviD encode as well!
There are patterns and specific undertones which connect each character to the lyrics of the song. Although the speed, beat, and lyric content of the song seem to beg for an action/combat video, I chose to try the MUCH harder route of symbolism. My, I like that word...
