Bored but yet, content...

Yesh, I've done about 33 seconds of a "weak" beta for "Crystal Dreams". It's "sublime" and a slow way to start off the song but hey, it's fine. Just can't wait to get to the "big bang" once the bass hits though.
After editing ALL of episode one almost into this amv, I've discovered that the HUGE amount of fight footage that I'll needed is only in the first 4 eps or so! ^_^ Bikinis abound in ep 8 so I think I'll use some of that too.
The NES Guides are helping and I just got the original Final Fantasy ROM for ripping purposes for those cute little "winner" sprites. (The ones where when they win, they wave their arms up and down and you hear that same "victory" melody in each and every gawd damn Final Fantasy thus far...)
Regarding the "fanservice" of GITSSAC. (As Zarxrax mentioned, that acronym sounds fooked up...) Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex is most definitely of "different" tastes concerning audience. I'm not dissuading or intentionally hurting anyone when I say that I like the TV series better for two reasons. Character Design (The "underwear" style uniform is beside the point. Which looks closer to the comic book?) Plot build. (I've said it before, each ep to me feels like a freakin' theatrical release! The fact that it's letterbox doesn't hurt either... ^_^)
If it wasn't for episode 2's Tachikoma's (which I believe were called "Fujikomas" in the game) this series wouldn't have a "different" side that keeps it interesting. The movie provoked a lot of thinking. This isn't bad. It's ending is unlike Eva's. (cough) But the comedic value of the "oh - so - adorable" spider mechas just drives me nuts to slap them silly. I'd still be weary of their "spider web" and machine guns though. I'm also finding Motoko's "cable shock" weapon at the back of her neck to be an "interesting" way of solving most of the anime's problems. In ep 1, she shorts our a robot. In ep 2, she shorts out a mecha tank. The scene of her struggling to open that tank brought the movie's memories back to me. (how nostalgic o_0) At least in this one, we didn't need to see her naked and then ripped apart by her own gawdawful strength. (Which didn't make sense to me. Apparently, in the movie, she didn't care about living or dying... Seriously.)
Yes, GITSSAC is most definitely my numbah 2 anime! Damn good...

moving right along...

I've decided where to "cut off" the song...
The "Crystal Realm" fx is all in thanks to the "Image Transparency" and gradient fx used in both Photoshop and Premiere... Also, it's probably going to be my most "layer intensive" effect to date...
For 5 crystals spinning and moving, I'll need over 7 layers to work with...
[weak actually when compared to stuff like Fluxmeister's Beta and Shameless Rock...]
But for me, it's fine... ^_^
ooooh, spinning crystals...
I'd probably use Adobe After fx for this but upon closer inspection of Premiere's Motion and "camera angle" usage, I guess I won't need to. The truth is, in terms of special fx, the only thing Premiere needs (in my opinion) is it's own "Shatter" transition and bam, I won't need After Effects to make a PERFECT MAD... ^_^ Or rather, a "first" MAD which will suck like crazy...

Got your email Mr. Doki Doki! Um, yeah, if I can't be in DDR2, then go ahead and use that "TWISTED AS HECK" title for your amv! [it's almost impossible to say it by just reading the text once...]
Process of "Crystal Dreams":
I've gotten the first 12% of the video done. [background layers. I'm using the "Tapestry Illusion" Premise with a twist...]
Themed fx:
"Somatic Strobe" (I've fallen in love with the new IMAGE TRANSPARENCY filter...)
"Crystal Realm" (a NON SEIZURE INDUCING effect to complement the "Somatic Strobe's" seizurific-ness!)
One thing is certain, if I don't have this video move as FAST as it should, I'm going to get butchered. (I'll probably get butchered now by people reading this journal entry. ^_^)
The plan is different from most other videos I've made. Following Phade's 1337 guides since "Kagome's Heart", the video will start with a "BOOM!" but end gradually instead of another "BOOM!". Why? So it flows properly with the other videos in the project! THAT'S WHY DAMNIT!
Finding pics for Final Fantasy One will be tricky indeed...
If you have any or any links, please send them. I just need the animated sprites of the characters, maybe some other stuff, but I don't intend to add TOO many Final Fantasy pics to this video. (That's MAD baby...) Also, I was unaware of some minor stuffs that I'm trying to do in Premiere! Still working with it after over a year and I'm still barely scratching the surface at what it's REALLy capable of doing. If only Premiere had the DAMN SHATTER TRANSITION, I could make a MAD without using that overclocked super prog that's known as Adobe After Effects. But hey! Live and learn right?
New anime to review: Tenshi na Konamaiki
Check it in the General Anime Forum if you wish. Good stuff!

Happy B-Day KOOPI!!!
^_^
Just now started editing for the NES Project. I was told I got one of the better mixes and that if I could make the best video in the world, I can use the whole 4 mins...
JUST FUCKING GREAT! NO PRESSURE EH?!
:(
LOL
Nothing too serious. However, I have to make this thing stand out BEYOND the scope of Feel the Rhythm since it's part of a whole project and I don't want to have the video that "sucked the most" in the group... ^_^ Then again, I'm sure nobody wants to end up like that either! Good luck to you all!
Information:
Music Video Title: Crystal Dreams (Realm of Strata)
Anime: Samurai Girl - Real Bout High School

Shenmue Two is coming NEXT TUESDAY!
Not yesterday...
:(
Playing Dungeons and Dragons again and gained some lvls. This has got to be without a doubt one of the most ridiculously time consuming games of ALL FUCKING TIME...
Be warned. 2 friends can play this game and kill over 4 hours with it in a matter of moments.
Any more than 4 people and this game turns into a new way of LIVING!
