Yeah, I know how you feel...
i have been making vids for whole this year with an intent to have fun. Still, I was very pleased to be told by some people that I could deserve the vote for the Rookie of the Year. While it's not much, it's definitely something, as I am still improving. I have my own style, I'd say, and I put a lot of originality and new ideas into most of my pieces.
Which is probably my drawback for the VCAs.
Final five?
Two people of that final five have released one vid. One of them I haven't seen, one of them just another DN writing vid with a little more feel to it.
Next two people have released TWO vids (I am not counting MEPs, sorry, Koys).
So in the end i just went with luggeriano, since he seems at least to work on his style and (I hope that) he keeps improving.
Seriously, I wouldn't give RotY to ANYONE for a single vid.
Even if it was koop with Euphoria. If it was his only vid for a rokie year, it's not enough.
Most of the people like Geass and DN, though, and that's what wins VCAs.
Not Hidamari Sketch melancholy and stories about myself being a cat person.
Guess I'll have to keep it to myself and believe those people who say I deserved it.
(Also, where the hell is Osny in that final five?)
