This video has grown on me since I first saw it. And now it's on my 10 favourite AMVs list :O Weird encode, but that was seriously the most atmospheric Loveless video ever. Don't be expecting any typical fan girl yaoi-romance though.. And I think I just fell in love with Placebo. -

Finally finished editing the slow-paced parts of my Loveless AMV. The sequence looks more like a mess than anything I've edited before.. I'm not happy.. But people might still like it.. Anyways, now I only have the ending to edit. It's very complicated and fast >_< This project is slowly killing me, but it's ok. I can always reincarnate >_>
I watched a few edpisodes of Haruhi. I thought I wouldn't like it but it was surprisingly good 0.o Quite clever actually, well written :P I think I'll keep watching it, even though Haruhi is really annoying.. And for the other animes I've been watching recently. Maria-sama ga Miteru. Not bad, but not too good either. They're constantly making a big deal out of nothing in that anime. But now I can see where Strawberry Panic! took its concept from..

I passed my driving test!

Woohoo! I finally got my first licence. I feel extremely relieved now that the test is over. Actually, the last three months of the driving school has been just one big stressful thing for me. I hate it. I hate driving. I F#%&&%#& hate everything related to cars!!! I'm just happy I don't have to go through that again, and it's all over now :P Almost.. I need to practice driving >_>
I edited my AMV today. Only a little bit, but I managed to get something done.. Uhh.. I have three layers of clips on the part I'm editing now. The next section will have four.. With a bunch of effects.. It takes forever to just edit 5 seconds of it -_- But I'm happy with the way it's coming along. I guess it's going to be the best video I've edited yet :P Although.. I still have to edit the ultra-fast and -complicated ending. I see lots and lots of painful and frustrating editing moments ahead of me >_>
Going to have a small party with my friends tonight.. Lots and lots of fun :P But I'll leave it here now.

The SoulTaker

So, I finally watched The SoulTaker! I've been wanting to watch it since I saw "Echoes of Haven" by Koopiskeva and Prodigi. The vid is still on my favourite AMVs list, and it's propably the saddest AMV I've ever seen, despite the undepicherable clip selection. Anyway, check it out if you haven't already.. But.. The vid got me drooling over that anime but now that I've seen it.. Blah! It was nothing what I expected =( I guess it was pretty decent in its own genre, but that genre isn't for me..
It had an interesting story going on for sure, but I really had hard time watching those mutant battles without getting embarassed -_- That was just my problem though.. Also, the leading character was quite terribly written. We're talking about a stereotypical young male hero with superpowers. How shallow. I'm kind of sick and tired of all these Christ-like characters with all the fake good and evil stuff. They annoy me -_-.. Once again I found the side plots and characters way more interesting than the actual ones.
I could go on and on with a review but I don't feel like doing that now.. I have one more thing to say about it though: it looked gorgeous!! 0.o I just LOVED the art work of The SoulTaker with all the lightning and colouring effects. The animation was pretty good as well. I could recommened checking it out just for the visual appearance sake 0.o The first two episodes weren't too bad so you wouldn't be wasting your time :P.. Nah, everyone has their own opinions about stuff. I just didn't find this anime appealing at all.

Also, I've been listening to Emilie Autumn's music lately. Her music is so unique! She mixes industrial/experimental music with classical and electronic violin ("violindustrial" as she calls it ;D) and has the overall feel of (gothic) dream-pop and reneissance.. Add some grotesque and artsy lyrics and voila, we have perfect music :D I swear I've never heard anything like that in my life.

That's all for now. I think I'll get back to my Loveless vid now. I'm really excited about it and hope to finish it soon.. Which isn't going to happen in a while.. Propably.. But I'm being optimistic. -

I'm just feeling kind of stressed out.. I should be getting my driver's licence in two weeks or so, but before that I'm going to do the final theory test and the last driving test. That's a lot of stress for me 0.0 And it isn't helping any that I just HATE my instructor. I swear he seems like he's constantly holding back his anger or something. And I'm already just a nervous wreck when I'm driving!.. Gah.. I just wish you could get your licence in the age of 16 (like in the US) rather than 18 (like in here) Then it would be all over by now -_-
As for more positive things, I figured out the pattern I'd be editing to for the slow parts of my Loveless AMV. That took long enough -_- But a certain style is important, so I'm glad I was able to figure it out after some experimenting with different styles.. I really want to finish this project!.. Plus, I already got bored with my little side-project with The Eye 2. But, I edited it this far so I'm going to finish it as well, even if it might be really boring..
Have you ever thought of starting your own manga project? 0.o Because I've been having this silly idea for some time now. I don't know why I'm developing it further because I really don't think I could actually start drawing it. Damn, it would take AGES for me to finish just one page -_- But.. Maybe I'll just start it for fun and then see how it goes. That should be okay. I don't have to take this so seriously.
