  • expand your anime library for the good of us all 2003-06-30 02:02:22 This has been a great year for AMV's and with so many creators it can only get better. I just wish people would use less domestic releases to make their videos (If I see another Trigun video so help me......). But I digress, I understand the ease of readily availible material at your local Best Buy or video store. It's just I wish people had the urge to be more unique and wishing to do different anime shows. This usually requires the effort of doing a little research (reading NEWTYPE or ANIMERICA or ANIME PLAY or the Internet) to find new shows before they're shown here and everybody has a video to the same show. It's like the Dragon Ball phenomenon of several years ago, (you remember, the millions of crappy quality DBZ AMV's with the Cartoon Network logo in the bottom right corner). As people become more aware of anime and AMV's they should be looking to fansubs or my personal favorite... import DVDs for shows with great potential and a fresh look that will have others wanting to know what anime they used, which helps expose everyone to a new anime they might not have known about. Everything I'm writing about is of course my own opinion, I would just like to see a Wolf's Rain or Stellvia or (insert new anime here) AMV before they become domestic titles and are used and reused over and over again. I would like us to create a sense of "Coming Soon" in a lot of our works we put out nowadays and in this time with an overabundance of anime being produced it's more that possible, it's awesome.
  • VIDEOS FINALLY UPLOADED 2003-04-25 22:25:55 First off I would like to thank Kris McCormic (Phade) for creating such a great site and adding in the video upload/download feature. So now I can premiere my videos for a small donation a month. I apologize to the people who have tried to download my videos prior to my uploading. Hopfully now I can keep andding new videos in monthly, keep checking back after Con season is over for the videos I'm working on now.
  • Somebody Down There Likes Me 2002-09-08 18:32:53 I fell so bad for not being able to premiere my video still to this date. And it appears it will still be a while since my hard drive has died and I will need to buy another one and update all my files and reinstall All of my editing software. Again I am real sorry, I'll see if I can have a friend host my videos for me when I have the time. Hopefully I've backed up all the file that are important to me........I think? Till next time

  • 2002-07-28 20:02:29 It's been 5 monthes since my last entry(jeez am I a slacker)and I've done thing and seen things and I am a better person because of it. Went to Jacon 2002 this year (first con in over 9 years, last con was Anime Expo '91) and will probably go every year from now on. STILL working on web sight, I know web sights are easy to make but I'm holdiing out till I get all the bells and whistles that i have in mind (it's a case of dreams slightly beyond my reach). But it will all work out in the end....maybe.
So basically I'm chiming in to say I'm still here.........I'm still here again. So until next time hopefully not another 5 monthes I'll have more interesting things to talk about.
