JOURNAL: requiett (Brett )

  • Judith Ramon is an emo twat. 2005-07-22 20:27:02 When she's not off making second-rate mass-produced banners and writing every detail of her worthless daily life in her journal, Hinatasan is asking questions on the forum about how many people read her snooze-fest of a journal. She didn't even have the proverbial balls to ask the question outright. Instead she chicken-shits herself into asking how many hits OTHER people have in their journals until she feels she can confidently kick in her own mongoloid popularity statistics.

I say this girl is an emo twat, and it's living proof when she uses EMOticons for puncuation instead of following the rules of grammar and adding a period, question mark, or exclamation point. This bitch has enough points to graduate from the school of MTV.

I took the time to view some of her editing. She should really stick to the loom, and make banners instead of videos. Then she can call it a day and go cook dinner (like the majority of women should) for her SIXTEEN YEAR OLD "FIANCE" who can't edit well either.

If you think I'm being too hard on "poor" Judith, then you're most likely a hypocrite. Everyone hates "noobs" unless they're actually one. So don't feel sorry when one gets singled out. I know it's not fair to pick on her like this, since she can't even fight back. She'll likely put up a mindless arguement along the lines of "YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW ME!" even if I did know her personally.

Grow some brains, assholes. No one's going to force you to think for yourselves. The world you live in DISCOURAGES you to think for yourself. REMEMBER THAT WHEN I COME FOR YOU.
  • And the winner for worst plot theft goes to... 2005-07-21 21:13:07 STEALTH.

A top secret unmanned fighter gains a mind of its own and threatens to destroy humanity along with the friendship of an elite test pilot squad who try to convince their superiors that machines can't replace people. Is it Stealth or Macross Plus? I DUNNO. WHICH CAME FIRST?

God forbid this is the first time American cinema has ripped off an anime. Back in 1994, a children's film by a company that shall remain nameless stole the story of a young African cub destined to king (NAMED KIMBA!) who was orphaned and later befriended by a troupe of animals who help him regain the throne from his evil uncle. Even then, the plot from THAT is just a thin recasting of Hamlet.

The moral of the story is this: There are no more original films... except Brotherhood of the Wolf.

The movie wouldn't bother me so much if I didn't see a special sneak preview of Stealth on STARZ in which the cast and crew were pathetically duped into thinking they were doing something FRESH. They were talking about it with the sincere naive fervor that their plotline was UNTOUCHED. SORRY GUYS. THAT VIRGIN HOLE AIN'T SO CHERRY.
  • Opinion Exchange means just that. 2005-07-06 19:35:17 I got screwed out of a 1:1 opinion for the last time today. The system works only when enforced, and you lazy bastards are going to start paying the penalties. As of today, anyone who gets a 1:1 op from me, and doesn't give one back within two weeks or so is going to get an edited OP of ALL 0's on their vid until I receive my op. I don't care so much about receiving the op itself, but it pisses me off when people don't live up to their obligations.

    SO BEWARE!
  • This one's for the Americans reading this. 2005-07-01 19:29:20 I just received a long OP (the kind I don't like) from a sweet Greek girl who lives in America. Her grammar and spelling were nearly flawless. She was born in GREECE. A great deal of teenagers I've encountered on this site have to STRUGGLE to even compose an understandable string of mangled words.

I'm not saying this is the case for everyone. Broad generalizations are unbecoming of anyone who even poses as intelligent. I've met my fair share of foreigners who probably lived in America most of their lives and can't even order a pizza without getting someone's linguistic circuits fried. However, Americans have no excuse. English is YOUR NATIVE TONGUE. If you can't communicate with others properly, you have no right to say anything at all.

Further reason for the people who can't type out the syntax of "you" rather than "u" have greater reason to be ashamed. That big building you go to for six hours a day, five days a week DOES have a purpose. If you listened to that boring-ass adult at the front of the room once in a while, you might find out some useful information that'll give me less reason to pick on you.

Concerning Sammy's journal entry, I should note that I was making my entry in response to his. That should be apparent. I have nothing against him. He shouldn't randomly attack people if he wasn't prepared to back his statements up.
  • Let the great race for idealogically useless statistics begin! 2005-06-30 20:20:12 I can understand wanting to make one's AMVs more popular than everyone else's. If you want everyone getting sick of you in a few weeks, hell, go for it. What I can't comprehend is why some people feel the need to be more opinionated than others here. If a person is striving to write massive amounts of long ops, it seems likely that it's just going to be a piece-by-piece playback of your video in textual format. How fucking redundant is that?

When you watch a video with the goal of making long-winded remarks about it, you dehumanize the whole experience. It's like putting someone in an MRI and telling them what kind of person they are based on the data you extract. Yet, everyone is CLAMORING for LONG OPS. I suppose it's ok if you like having your ego masturbated by total strangers, but then you have to write a long response back, lest you feel guilty.

I'm not saying you should write one-liner remarks expressing an extreme of goodness or badness about a vid. I'm saying you shouldn't over-ANALyze a vid to the point of ridiculousness. This is an opinion, not a fucking essay. Put those writing skills to better use elsewhere.
