I get pissed when people say crap like "I'm not watching _______ cuz it made fun of my religion". WTF? What type of sense does that make?
I have a friend that said he'd never watch Family Guy again because of the recent episode where Peter befriends Jesus. These were my exact words to him: So, you're fine with them having dog/human relationships, having a stereotypical Jew family and making fun of the Jews in general, making light of rape, incest, and racism but when they show that Jesus might be a bit of a party animal you're disgusted?
He didn't have anything to say after that......my point is that either everything is OK to make fun of or nothing is. I have statue of Jesus and several angels in my living room but I still laughed at the Robot Chicken skit where it was a Kill Bill parody with Jesus/The Easter Bunny. I have Jewish friends but I will laugh at South Park any day of the week with them sitting right next to me.
You can't laugh when a show makes fun of every other topic or religion in the world but when it makes fun of your beliefs it's despicable and should be boycotted. Get your crap together people, there's no way SOMETHING won't make fun of your beliefs and if you can't learn to laugh at it then have fun being a joyless person for the rest of your life.
