Am I the only one that's starting to hate the word "flow"? It's just a vague ass word that's used by everyone and I can't stand it. It's just like the word swagger, it's stupid and it's basically meaningless as it can refer to anything:
"I like the flow"; "It flowed really well"; "The flow was fantastic".
What the fuck are you talking about? Point out specifically what you're referring to. Is it that my effects were used well? Did I make good scene choices? Lyrical/beat sync? Fades?
EVERY FUCKING VID I SEE NOW HAS AT LEAST ONE COMMENT ABOUT FLOW. Comment on what I did good/bad so that I may improve. Don't just say, "some of the scenes messed with the flow". What scenes? What are you talking about? This shit doesn't help me become a better editor and it doesn't prove you know what you're talking about.
This is the exact same thing as "abridged" since half the fucking people I talk to thinks it means "making a parody of". THAT'S NOT WHAT IT MEANS. Look the word up people.
Editing is little more than a hobby I find fun. However, just like with any other hobby (gaming, photography, etc...) I want to improve. Don't comment on my vids about flow as I will ignore it as it doesn't help me. "You used that effect poorly, you should feather it", Fine, thank you. "You're sound's kinda messed up, you need to use such and such settings", I will, thanks. "Your flow was really off", shut up.

Superbowl Tomorrow.......Greatest Ever?

This Superbowl seems like it's gonna be one of the greatest ever. For the past few years I've always been able to pick the team to win with no wavering but this isn't like that. Ever since the Saints beat the Vikings I've flip-flopped maybe 30 times and even now I'm only like 52/48 going for the Saints to win.
Both are high powered offenses but I feel that the Saints defense is gonna be the X factor as they lead the league in defensive touchdowns. Plus, if Reggie can have a great game then it'll be heard to stop the run/ play action/ flea flicker. Saints cannot let this game become a shootout in the fourth quarter and they cannot allow themselves to get behind more than a touchdown going into halftime.
However, the Colts have Manning and that's pretty much all I need to say. If Freeney wasn't injured I might slightly favor the Colts but even with Freeney in their defense is riddled with injuries and if I remember right Joseph Addai left practice early because of hamstring problems earlier this week. But, if their receivers are all 100 percent then a strong running game may not be needed. Did I mention the Colts have Peyton Manning? I Did? Ok then.
I see no less than a combined 50 points for this game so I'm gonna say final score:
Saints- 27
Colts- 24
