well I...LOVE the Fullmetal Alchemist MANGA. I was severally disappointed with the anime, at first I thought it was "Good" but then when I read the manga...I become more obsessed with FMA than I've EVER been. Still obsessed.
I would definately point you towards it too, although...hate to tell you Archer is an anime-only character. So....yeah sorry. But I still think you could get into it, I doubt FMA is your favorite series SOLEY because of Archer, he's not in it too much. I would definately recommend it.
If you're going to read it, I shouldn't tell you who my avatar is, I'll just say the Homunculi in the manga are the same (Lust, Envy, Gluttony, Greed 1, (Bradly is Wrath in the manga though) but Sloth and Pride are different, and Dante doesn't exist)
So the first Greed is the same as the anime, but a new Greed gets made and he is the new Greed.
