If you have an Xbox360, I highly recommend Tales of Vesperia. I think it's one of the best games in the franchise and the most fun in terms of characters, skits, gameplay and story. -

This what happens when you play when you're sick...you can not coordinate well....especially on UNKNOWN mode which is the hardest mode....

Yes, tales games have a TON of sidequests that keep you playing for a long LONG time.
If it makes you feel better, I missed most of them on my first playthrough too.
That's why second and 3rd playthroughs are always a blast XD Especially in New Game+ with all the extra grade!
Oh you use Judith on your team?
My final team is always Yuri, Rita, Estelle and Raven. XD Raven's Love Shot saves me TONS of times. You can set it to the shortcut arts and spam it like hell if you're dying. XD -
