I'm about to start my new project but I'm having some technical problems, mostly with visual quality... Damn it! And I just got a nice idea... Maybe I should join some mep to kill my time until I get over it.
Oh, by the way, does anyone out there in USA know what Eurovision is? It is a contest for a best pop song in Europe (it doesn't always have to be pop, but generally it is...), where each country has one representative. Yesterday, there was a contest for my country, to decide which song will get to compete in finals in Helsinki. I must say that the winner song is great, but that woman singing it is so ugly that if you shoot her in the had you would actually do her a favor... -

For those newbies like me:
If you're actually entering contests, try not to enter small ones... There are 2 ways they decide which video wins:
1) They let audience do the thing. Then audience will always vote for a local amv creator no matter how good/bad his/her video is OR they I'll just vote for funniest vid or a vid with the best song (no matter if it is technicallly looking good)...
2) Judges do the thing. On small cons they often find someone that is not actually fit for that role, and judging becomes simillar to 1) example...
It doesn't always have to be like this, although I think I experienced both examples...
Big Cons rule!!! I'll have to enter one with some of my next AMVs... -
