I just found something out that pretty much completely ruined my day. I called up one of my roommates (Megan) to find out if she still wanted me to buy a rug for the bathroom, and she was like, "Oh, yeah...about that....I'm not moving back into the apartment this term."

Great. It wouldn't be that big of a deal if it wasn't for the fact that I can't stand one of my other roommates (Stephanie), and the other I don't really 'get along' to well with. The girl that I really can't tolerate is extremely high mainenance, high stress, and has extreme anger problems. One day, she got pissed because her computer wouldn't load and just started squealing and hitting things in her room. I swear to god, it was like an earthquake. Then she proceeded to come scream to me about it. /: Wtf. I don't know how I'm going to live with her now that I don't have Megan to back me up when Stephanie's being a psychobitch.
...this sucks. I'm not sure how quickly we'll get a new roommate, and I'm not really looking forward to having go through adjusting to living with some random person that I've never met, either. Ugh. Now I really don't want to go back up to school. I should have moved in with my friend Courtney when I had the chance. >.< I really have nowhere else to go now, if I decided to move out....

I'm sad to see you go, Yeiweh, but I completely understand why you're taking a break. I wish I had the willpower to cut myself off from amv'ing for a little while, because my grades are really suffering (think...lower than a 2.9...XP). Good luck with school!
And on a completely unrelated subject, it really bothers me that quick comments are anonymous. -_- I know Greg made a post saying something along those lines a little while back, and I completely agree with what he said. I wish people would sign their QC's...a lot of times the fact that they are anonymous just gives you excuse to say rude things that you would never say to the person's face. /: (though, fortunately, I haven't gotten one of those, yet...) I would be nice to know who these mystery people are, so I can pm if I'm confused by what they said, or thank them, etc. -sigh- Anyway, the real reason I'm on this topic is because I wanted to reply to a really great comment I got on Memoria yesterday.
2007-01-05 00:03:09 Despite that the beginning totally killed me because those scenes are so overused, I actually found the story telling in the rest of the amv to be really good and refreshing. I liked the effects you did use, the little pang the overlay caused was delightful, and I really liked the emphasis and sudden drama caused by the motion blur. It might be another Naruto amv, but it's artistic, which is a rare find. Very beautiful.
...seriously, I love quick comments like this. Not because it was mostly positive, but because you told me why you liked it. Thank you for pointing out specific aspects, and giving me feedback on them....I heart you, mystery person. It's a nice change from ones like 'pretty good' or 'nice.' Though, I guess those are better than none at all...
Anyway, moving on...I haven't been hanging out on YouTube lately (no need for it, now that I have the .org), and randomly today I decided to go on for a second and see what kind of comments I've been getting, and I ended up reading like all of the ones on my videos. It was pretty amusing.
One thing that bugs me is when people refuse to read the video description. Especially when it's only like a couple sentences long. I swear, on almost every video, I get the 'lyke omg, I luv dis song, who sings it?!' -_- ...it's slightly amusing...but annoying. It's not hard to look at the description, is it? I also found a random comment, not on one of my videos, but a different one, and I thought it was pretty funny - someone was recommending SE: Lain to another person...but they said 'Serial Adventures Lain' instead. I got a good laugh out of that. Silly YouTubers.
Well, that was a rather long, uninteresting entry...I think I'm going to go eat some dinner or something. Then, I'm going to spend some time cleaning up my room because the house owners are coming by tomorrow. /: Maybe I'll get some more opinions done? ...it's possible. ...what's with people feeling so down? I think a new dub from Yeiweh is definitely in order. And I'm always up for a good laugh.. XD *hugs everyone* Don't be sad...
-sigh- Anyway...I haven't posted since last year, so...Happy New Year, everyone! Now I have to go through the difficult task of remembering to write '07 on papers and stuff, instead of '06....dammit.
Anddd, the VCA's are coming up (obviously).. :O This is my first year at the .org, so I've never gotten to participate before...this is exciting stuff. I've already got a lot of videos in mind that I want to vote for.

I've been working on Signs of Darkness and Grief all day...about a minute and 5 seconds is done. ('bout 45 sec. or so to go ^^) I wish I wouldn't have procrastinated so long on this, because now I'm doing nonstop editing to pull the beta together at the last minute. Gah...I suck. As soon as I'm done with it, I'm going to start working on Kaxi's mep right away, so I don't procrastinate again...such a bad habit of mine. ;_;
I went out and bought the first Vol. of Ergo Proxy yesterday with some of my X-Mas money. :D I watched the first couple of episodes, and the dub is actually not that bad...and I'm picky when it comes to dubs. I really can't get used to Daedelus's voice though...his japanese VA is Lucy from Elfen Lied, and the dub is Sasuke's, from Naruto. O.o I can't get used to it. But, anyway...I can't wait until the rest of the series comes out on dvd...I want to make an Ergo Proxy video so badly. ^^
Well, time to go eat some dinner. Then I'll probably be off to play a bit more of FFXII (christmas present ^^), which I'm heavilly addicted to. :O I probably should edit some, but we'll see how that goes. ;)
...and sKy, I'm so glad to hear that your mother's surgery went well. Best wishes to her, and I hope she has a smooth recovery.
