I'm hoping I can lop off 2 videos off of my 10 vid long "to-make" list before the new year... that's being very optimistic in my situation.
On top of that, I want to get the bloody remake of "D-Boy; Destiny Boy" done. Yes, that's right, remake. This was decided a week or two ago. Although the current copy was what was shown at Anime North, I have bumped it down to "Draft" grade due to it's incompleteness. The sound botch is too severe, even though the timing is pretty sharp IMO. There are going to be 2 or 3 minor clip changes too, which I decided after making the now-graded "draft" version. The sound is what is going to be by far the most notable difference, and IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE, so it doesn't count as an alteration to the original plan, unlike the clip changes ^^. The overall feel and flow of the video will be more or less unaffected, as the clip changes are as similar as can be without being the same, the changes just make for better visual flow.
Out of the 2 vids I'm hoping to make, the one that is for sure to be made is the Rockman X vid I've bragged about previously. The other vid still needs planning as I need to grab a copy of the movie to be used for it. I've seen the movie twice, so I know it will work, just gotta do my homework so to speak. It'll be an emotional piece, so it has be done properly, and will be involving music from Final Fantasy/Nobuo Uematsu. I have no idea really when I will be able to do it. Since I'm a college student, my life technically isn't all mine =P. Expect it to pop up out of nowhere suddenly *lol*. My target date is either before the new year (unlikely) or not too far into the new year.
Dunno which will be done first between Rockman X and Destiny Boy remake. Expect to find out in about 6 weeks or so, hopefully. - Controversial Idea? 2001-09-12 19:39:22 Well, as last night drew upon us with the daytime nightmare fresh, an instrumental piece goes into my mind that really reflects the events that unfolded. Being a bit of a twisted individual, I get the idea for mixing it in with anime and making a music video with it. I think I could make a really well thought out video, with some impact in its theme/purpose/story. It would be a challenge to do well, because if done wrong would easily offend a LOT of people, which is why I ask myself if I should add this into the idea pool (which has enough in it already) or not, from fear of repulsing the audience. Well, I've thrown this into the forums now, I'll see what the reaction is to it, and let that decide.
