I just saw the Japanese TV commercial for Rockman X6. OMG. That was wicked. Zero is coming back, but who's side is he on?! I'm under the impression there's two of them.
3 new lead Irregulars appear to be involved (this is not from the ad) in the the plot, one of which has some resemblance to Dr.Doppler, and this is the dude behind the nightmare effect. Gate is another character who seems intellegent, then there's High Max who seems to be the muscle of this Irregular trio.
The Armours are AMAZING this time. You've got the Falcon Armour being kept from X5. Best choice for a carry over, Falcon Armour was gorgeous and the most powerful. Then the new ones are Slade Armour, and (my favorite, this looks SO AWESOME) SHADOW ARMOUR.
With the commercial in my arsenal, I've got more to add to the irregulars video >=D. I may even have X6 the game itself before I finish this bloody vid. Grrr, I'm locked away from my vid ;_; *L*
Earlier today I saw MeriC's all purpose DBZ video... that was hilarious. Best spoof. And Best satirical take goes to EK, as I have finally seen Failed Experiments in Video Editing today as well. Laughed my ass off on both of these. Congrats, those are great vids ^_^.
I gotta write a script for one of the vids I plan on doing in future... and no, I do not mean a clip script... voice over script. No live footage will be used, but we do intend to throw in voices... hmhmhmhmmm. Only problem is that the clip script should be done first which I can't do yet because I don't have the source yet =P. Blah... I suck (thank you EK for the reminder =P) -

I've been noticing an improvement in my drawing lately. It might be good enough to sell, so I'm starting to wonder if it is something that I could use to make some extra cash... the only thing I'm wondering is
a) Is it worth my while
and more importantly
b) Can I part with my artwork :(
I scoped EBay to see what the scene was for fanart stuff, sometimes the prices are high, and the work is of a quality I can't quiiite match, then there are others which aren't that hot a quality artwork... which have no bids. I seem to be somewhere in the middle... I'm better than the ones with no bids... but I'm not as good as those that do have bids...
Maybe I'll auction stuff off at Anime North to experiment... I dunno, I haven't decided yet. I have to say I'm pleased with my own progress/development though... I still need to try some stuff to make sure I'm not limited too much in what I can do... but time for that later ^_^.
Decisions decisions, hey wait a minute, aren't I supposed to be doing work?... na. -

One of those days.
I work last night from around 9pm to 1am on a project due the following day. I say screw it to an assignment and don't bother studying for a test (both of which are for the same class). I sleep for 4 hours... not even. Get to school... partner sick, no presenting this week. So feverish prepping done in vain somewhat. Get to the class I have a test in. Smoked it... mostly. Surprisingly easy. Quiz in the class after that - postponed.
And icing on the cake, picked up a pretty nice Delerium remix 2CD set. Might be changing my mind on the Trance project if my TLND CD doesn't come through. I'll be rather pissed off if it doesn't, but hey I have a back up, which is what matters ^_^. My original backup was questionable as to appropriateness since it was a techno trance mix.
However, the day does hold some bad news: It's gonna be a while (I knew Murphy was watching us) before I get to finish the Irregulars video >.<. Bugger. -
My Day goes unexpected

Well... today was supposed to be working away at assignments... didn't happen. Surprise. Surprise. Surprise. So, what happened instead? Drawing. A fair amount. 2 fully drawings, one of which is already inked, plus I may ink the other one before I go to sleep tonight. Not a bad day's work IMO. The drawings are fanart of Tekkaman Blade. I have to say that I'm really happy with them as I've been able to take a better shot at figure drawing in these two after the doujinshi I picked up yesterday being useful reference.
I have to ask myself what is it with this fascination I have with the subject of incest? I have been wondering a fair bit lately, because it doesn't make sense. Now someone is probably asking, so I'll answer this one now, NO, I do not have a sister.
One of the drawings, which is pretty much borderline H, is a sensual/erotic scene between Shinya and Miyuki... this is sorta like Angel Sanctuary influencing Tekkaman Blade. But the connection within Tekkaman Blade is based on something from ep. 20 during the church scene, where Aki reminds Shinya of his (and D's) mother. While Aki is D's love interest, combined with the fact that you'd think Miyuki would have some resemblance to her mother (which she does, you see their mother in the Burned Clock special ep), the argument is that Aki and Miyuki have a strong enough a resemblance, Shinya and D-Boy being twins probably have similar tastes, and Shinya's got issues... You probably have no clue what the hell I'm talking about.
The other drawing is another one being titled "Tekk-Romancers", a D and Aki drawing. I find that I'm finally getting better at drawing the male figure (can draw mechs that look masculine, but the human male figure is a little more difficult =P. Even women find drawing women easier, I've heard).
It's also been an inspiring day as I've started making some future AMV ideas more solid/workable. One of them is going to have some of the most editing I'll ever do, but it would be a riot if I pull it off. The other is the afore mentioned song from my childhood. And lastly, an idea that I got from seeing another AMV the other week. It's the same anime, same music, but completely different style (a complete mock). Should be really fun to work on that one, but source material will take much time on all 3 of these ideas >.<. Why goes making AMVs have to be so complicated =P. -

Instead of doctoring the irregulars ad to the point that it is a Rockman X6 ad, I think I'll only doctor it to the point that there are not numbers (i.e. Rockman X...that's it, no 4, 5, or 6). This way, I don't have to deal with a time crunch... it is a little less work for me, and I can wait for X6 after all. We'll see. I'm ready to finish it whenever, the question is still can I get at my little project >.<. My baby is held captive ;_;.
I've dug up a classic from my Childhood on WinMX last night. The song is not my style, at all, but I still like it. It seems to have some really strong sentimental link... or something. I'm trying to think of animes to use, I know there is plenty that can match its theme. I have a few in mind, but the lyrics require some more effort be put in... there are some where I don't know where to begin. I'll be taking my time with this one, which I tend to be forced to do anyways =P.
