    So Kthulhu tells me today that some people called "about some sort of graphics program, they asked for you, the msg is on the answering machine". Oohh I think interesting. He tells me this on the way to Burger King, not like when they call tho. -_-

    Back home we go after Kthulhu gets 2x Whoppers. :O I play the msg here and guess who it is Full Sail(http://www.fullsail.com/). Media Arts college I was looking into. It looked sort of neat from the website. I requested some info about a year ago. They sent a large flashy packet to me. Then proceeded to call me and wake me up(usually on my day off) and spout about how great the college was. Or wait it's "University" or something. Well I thought, hmm ok. Maybe I could go there.

    I then start doing some research on them and I find out that they're known for alot of flash but not much substance. Tuition is killer as well. Some people even said that the head hauncho "borrows" the equipment from the students to go out and do weddings or private functions.

    The classes are structured around the clock. So you could have math at 6am and Advanced Computer Programming at 3pm, then another class at 11pm. Most of the classes are streamlined and they rush things. If you're not atleast a little up to date on some of the subjects. Mainly advanced math(Algebra, Calculus, Trig) then you'll find yourself in a world of hurt. Same if you don't have a basic understanding of how to move a mouse or atleast some basic knowledge on how computers operate. Going from knowning nothing to learning C++ is not a easy transition.

    Some people suceed in this program, many fail and drop out or even if they do finish the program they find themselves working @ McD's with 40K tuition bill. There is no garuntee that you're going suceed at all. Their website gives off the air that it's pretty simple and easy. They're mainly there to make lots of money and they do as it seems the instructors and heads have very nice cars :p.

    So obviously I haven't told them to SIGN ME UP BABY. I am not one for flash. I like to look at the specs before rushing in :|. So now what have they done. It's not a "recruiter" calling me anymore. It's a "student". Yes the students are so excited they're calling me on their own time and telling me I should come join them and have fun! My actual guess here is that these poor students are being "forced" into working for the devil so they have less debt with him. Basically the kids make $8/hr(maybe more or less) looking at a list of people who requested info and then calling them and bugging them to come out and join the fun. -_- HEH! No thankyou.

    The funny thing was first they had this guy call me and he was like "Yo it's cool". But then that didn't work, since I never answer my phone for fear that people I don't want to talk to will be on the other end. Basically the answering machine fields my calls. So the guy didn't work so they have a girl call today and she leaves a message. The messages are so cheesey and you can tell they're somewhat scripted. The students are probably told to act independant a bit and create their own things. So long as it's not like "This school sucks". -_-.

    I hope they stop calling, I don't want the chew out the students but if I have to I'll try to be gentle. :|

  • Swanson Mac N' Cheese review 2003-06-01 04:44:33

    I am a fan of Mac n' Cheese :O. It's good stuff. Tonight on a run to the store for paper towels, aluminum foil & more pot pies I spotted swanson individual boxed mwavable mac n' cheese things :O. For $0.66/ea :O which is a damn fine price.

    Anyways :O I stuffed a bunch in the basket and was thinking of the glorious flavor of Mac N' Cheese. I especially like the microwave stuff. Something about it :O, makes it good. Oh a good thing to do if you make the stove top stuff. Add like 1/2cup sour cream to it. Make sure it's like the full fat sour cream. It gives it a extra ZING. It help especially if you get the cheap store brand mac n' cheese. Heck even KRAFT has gone down hill. Velveeta I bet is good, but so COSTLY. JEESUS :|

    So I take the stuff home and actually Kthulhu and I have something else for dinner. Potstickers with rice. Which is just damn awesome tasting. :O ground pork wrapped in wonton, fried then steamed :O... on a fluffy pile of rice with a lite drizel of soy sauce on top XO. Uber good.

    I had that, but was still hungry. So I saw fit that I should test drive a Mac N' Cheese thingy :O. I open the package up and the first thing I note is there is no plastic covering on these things :|. That's bad, since it allows the MacNCheese to sploosh everywhere. I didn't put it on a plate when I put the first one in the microwave and it went everywhere :|. Shux. I actually had to get rid of that one because it was half done but the sides were coated in gooey cheese. We have a clear glass plate in our Mwave that you set your stuff down on and it rotates and all. Well, that got messy. So I took it out and cleaned it. THe "Cheese sauce" did not come off very easily. =o. Not a good sign.

    So, onto test box two. I put paper towels under it instead since I am too lazy to wash a plate. This time it goes much better. I microwave it for 3mins with a stiring of the noodles during the half way point. Then it was finally done. Some of it still spilled over. This time on the paper towel tho. So that was ok. It just didn't look too great tho. I had to test it out anyways.

    The flavor was ok. It tasted ok. The cheese sauce was more like plastic however. It tasted more like it was American processed cheese rather than a chedder. I ate it anyways. I enjoyed it. The thing is you don't get much for 66cents :<. I could probably eat all five. For that price I might as well get the Velveeta w/shells :O.... God I love shells. Those are the best noodles EVAR! EVAR.

    I give the swanson Mac & Cheese a 2 of 5, because it's not really worth 66cents for the small portion and the flavor isn't that great :O

    Tonight I got the hankering. Well I've been getting cravings of foods for odd reasons as of late. I think I am pregnant. It it's a Alien I'll name it Samantha :|

    Anyways! :O

    I goto Fred Meyer's here, which is costly city. I looky at the juicey prices for Rasp-Cranberry juice. It's like $4.89 for gal. =o. Oh fuck. So goto the freezer section and look at the pot pies. Which are like tasty :O... but god knows, they probably put "Beef Ass" in them as meet. I don't care. It tastes good. That's all I need to know. I look and I am like :|. those are kind of $$$ up there too!!!

    I pack it up and I say fuck you fred meyer. Well in my mind I did. I am too wussy to actually tell them they suck. I go back out to the parking lot, which is filled with stupid head 20 somethings in their WRXs drinking coffee @ Starbucks @ 10:30PM!!! PM HERE, Coffee is for morning you dickwits. Well :|, it's mainly so they can get together so I can look over there and wish I was with them. Chatting about >_> their sweaters or whatever the fuck they talk about. I'd try introducing my stuffies to them and they would be like "What the fuck are you doing? Like that is so totally lame..." and I'd be like "MY stuffies want to go for a ride in your WRX ;_;". Then they're like, "Um whatever.". Later they kick my ass when I break into their WRX to go for a test ride with the stuffies. It takes them awhile to get rid of my stuffiess since I had each one buckled in. Well I few would share seat belts, but like :|, they'd be fine. I maybe even have to give up my seat belt for one or two, that would be a worthy sacrifice. Last thing we want is stuffies flying everywhere as the car does a couple rolls. :|

    Ok, so I back out of the parking lot in my Chevy Cavalier, which is wayyyy cooler than their shitty WRX's >_>. I head on over to WinCo. No keep in mind. I didn't tell you this earlier, but keep in mind that I had gone to Burger King earlier this night and I got a Strawberry milk shake, because I am a fat whore. But like, actually it's not real ice cream, I think. IT didn't taste real, it tasted like whipped oil. Which fucking tastes good! It was good but not Ice Creamy good. It upset my stomach so who knows maybe it was real ice cream! Anyways, I also had DiGornio pizza :O... four cheese. Gooooood. But it all made my stomach go "burpy woorpy " -_-.

    So I don't feel to hot, but I am fine, because normally in these situations I would chicken out because of aniexty and the FEAR of vomitting! Oh yes, well when you have like wiffs sour bile coming up it doesn't give you much encouragement to go waltzing into public places. -_-. I should see a doctor. -_-

    So anyways, I go in there and I get my stuff. I find a gallon of BETTER! juice for $3/gallon!!!!!! IMAGINE THAT!!! Also my Pot Pies are cheaper too! $0.38/pie. JESUS :| Banquet Pot Pie's are cheaper than the store brand Flav-o-Rite. Banquet probably uses Grade B Beef Ass, while Flav-o-Rite uses Grade B+ or something -_-.

    I go through the checkout, which WinCo, it's you exchange your Time for extra money. It's usually a 5 - 10 minute wait to get out of there with your purchase. The cashiers seem to be even slower =/. Maybe it's just my mind. But they don't even bag your groceries, you do that yourself. Shux. But it's cheap and I'll bag my groceries for the $4 I saved on my juice =o.

    There were these mexicans ahead of me. A guy and his girl I guess. They had lotsa stuff on there and it all looked like it would be good. There was a large slab of meat. I was thinking. I bet she knows how to cook that meat so it tasted really good. I have this fetish for grilled meats! :O. Grilled or shreaded steak will make me orgasm the moment it hit's my ~erect~ tongue. ROFLs! =/. There's a mexican place nearby called Papita's, which I used to eat at almost everyday. It made me loose alot of money. It was like $4.50/lunch. :O... but it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooo GOOOOOOOd. My goodness :O...

    Anyways, it looks fine, until I see some odd colored and shaped meat the guy put on the conveyor belt. CHICKEN FEET MY FRIENDS. THE FEET OF CHICKENS!. Really gross looking. How the fuck do they make those =o. Jesus=o. It just looked gross and I started feeling a little warm and another burpy came up :O. Didn't help much. Then this white guy who was infront of me, but behind the mexicans. He had just jelly beans. So the mexican dude let him go ahead of them ,since they had massive amounts of good on the conveyor belt. Well :| All this did was make klinky move closer to those CHICKEN FEET :O. Oh, but the white guy new spanish to, and they had a little chit-chat. Then we learn the cashier who is italian also knows spanish too. So EVERYONE IS HAVING A BIG FUCKIN' SPANISH SPEAKIN' PARTY AND THEY LEAVE KLINKY AT THE END UP THE CONVEYOR BELT LOOKING AT THE CHICKEN FEET >_<.

    I had to turn around, and look at the magazines behind me. Charlie's Angels. Lucy Liu is hottie. Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore need to get their ugly white asses out of show business! HA =o :O

    I walk out to my car and drive home. I got some fruit pies while I was @ WinCo(tee hee I like leaving information out of the main story). So :| I munched on one of them. It tasted almost bitter. I also had some Grapes I got from the Fred Meyer the day before, they were all chilled. Only $0.88/pound. I found out why. They weren't really ripe. WTF is with food these days. IT's just shit. It's either cheaply made, or it's unripe, bitter or sour or shitty. Maybe my tastebuds are too sensitive ;_;. I don't know.

    I recently had some Au Grautin' Potatos which are godly food. Whoever thought of mixing cheese sauce and sliced potatos deserves free sex for the rest of his/her life. :O

    -_-. Anyways :/ Not much is going on with me. Studying a bittle here and there. Playing some GTA Vice City. I am at a point where I need to makes money :O So I just go around and kill my own gang members and pick up the 20 - 50 dollars they're carrying around. :O Oohh and the choppper. Flying between my cash spots. Like the printing press, my mansion and the docks.

    Oh yes, two so far tonight have gone creepying across my wall. Those spiders are now D-E-A-D.

    Also I could go for some pepperoni.


    Hey and you know, right now I feel pretty damn happy ^_^. I don't know I haven't been this happy in awhile. ^_^


    I am getting my GED underway as well which is good news.
