Sunday brought much knitting... and that's about it...
Monday: Back to the daily grind. Got a 98 on my board game project for Biology ^_^ w00t! There was also a 90 minute delay... which was really nice, I used to extra time to knit... lol *is a complete loser* Chrissy picked me up after school, and we had to walk up the driveway because it was too icy. Me and Chris then stacked wood for about a half an hour, and me and Chrissy left for the mall around 4:00. I exchanged my see through snoopy pajamas for some... less see through ones... lol. I don't care anymore though, haha. I also got a book called "how to be an evil villain: evil laughs, secret lairs, master plans, and more" it's funny! While in the food court, I got some dippin dots ^_^ which I love! After the mall we went to Best Buy, where I bought 3 EELS CDS!!!!! Electro-shock Blues (which is really down tempo, kinda depressing) Shootenanny (their newest album, and their most upbeat, according to my friend Jamie) and Beautiful Freak (my favorite one so far) I really wanted Souljacker or Daisies of the Galaxy, but they weren't there =( oh well, maybe next time. I was really proud of myself though, since I actually BOUGHT music, rather than just downloading it ^.^'''' Then me and Chrissy went to Stop and Shop, and Blockbuster. At Blockbuster we rented Underworld, 8mm, and Dick. It was funny, because the guy ringing us out was like "8mm dick" and it was funny, and we all laughed like "Ha Ha Ha!"
then I FINALLY got a hold of Sam (the bum, I've been trying to call for 3 days!) and I told him everything in these past two entries, and more... I talk a lot... hehe =P why he still talks to me... I do not know... I'm a lucky one ^.^
Well, 12:09, need to go to bed now! I'm out

Babysitting, The Mall, and Anxiety

Well well, I haven't written in two days =P I think I need to stop thinking everyone cares what I write in my journal... haha... Actually, I don't think anyone cares... this journal is for me, so I can write down... stuff! I don't know why I keep it actually ^_^ guess I've just gotten into the habit of doing it... meh.
Friday brought a field trip to the state capitol, it was fun ^_^ I wish I had brough my camera. Not to take pictures of Hartford, but to take pictures of how much fun my friends and I were having on the bus, and at McDonalds ^_^ Right after school, I came home and packed for babysitting, I had to be at Liz's house at 5:30. I love Liz ^_^ she is so nice. So is her boyfriend James, I really feel like we're friends, rather than she's my employer. And Kira is just hte cutest little girl ever! but more about babysitting in a bit... Anyway, so I packed to spend the night at Liz's, and then my mom came home and picked me up to go to my doctor's appointment. I have, as expected, anxiety. It didn't really come as a surprise to me, I knew what was wrong, I just wanted treatment. So my doctor prescribed two drugs to me. One is for my anxiety in the long run, results to be very apparent within the week. And another to help me go to sleep at night. After my appointment, my mom and I went to Blockbuster so I could rent some movies to watch with Kira ^_^ I got Pocohontas II (which I promised I would bring her, since we watched Pocohontas I last week) and My Neighbor Totoro. We never got a chance to watch it, but I'll watch it on my own time =) Then we went to the bookstore, where I said to my mom "will you buy me these books? They collectively cost $45... *big smile*" she sighed, but since she was going away for two weeks that night, she thought she would be nice and get me some presents. I got Kurt Cobain's Journals, and Stupid White Men by Micheal Moore (so funny!) Then I went babysitting. My parents stopped by at 9:00, since they were leaving at 4:00 in the morning on their trip, my dad wanted to say goodbye, because I hadn't seen him since I left for school that morning. I woke up at 3:00 with Kira in my bed... she snores! so loudly! because she has asthma... she also punched me in the eye when she was rolling over! it was hard to get back to sleep o_O
Saturday, I got home around 11:00 and my mom called from the airport, saying that their flight was cancelled because of something wrong with the plane, and they wouldn't be leaving till the next morning at 4:00 again. so they came home. My mom and I went to the mall, it was a lot of fun ^_^ I got 2 pairs of pants and 3 shirts for under $60! My mom was shocked when I said I would pay for it... haha. We also went to Waldenbooks, where I returned the first Alice 19th manga, which Chrissy's parents gave to me, but I had bought between the time they purchased it, and Christmas, when they gave it to me... oops ^.^''' so I bought the second one when I returned it. I also got the 4th Marmalade Boy manga. I also got some snoopy pajamas, which are sooooo cute... but I didn't try them on, because there was a security device through them... I'm not even gonna try and explain, but when I put them on last night... they were sooooo see through! you could see my underwear right through them! (more about that later) then my mom and I left the mall and went to another store and bought over $100 worth of yarn... haha. She taught me how to knit. I really suck at it ^_^ but I'm trying!
A couple days ago, I was begging Chrissy to bring me to the mall, because I wanted new pants. She hates clothes shopping with me though, cause I'm really skinny, so it makes her feel fat, she's really weight conscious, but she shouldn't be. She finally reluctantly said alright, but we had never made plans. She called yesterday to ask if I wanted to go to the mall on Sunday, because she had to go return something, but my brother told her I was at the mall... she was mad at me... haha. But, luckily, those Snoopy pajamas are see through, so I'm gonna return them and get another pair I wanted, which I know won't be see through. I'm also gonna try and get an Eels CD ^_^
Wow, what a long entry, I guess I should write every day, so as not to have impossibly long entries like this one! hehe =P I'm out

field trip tomorrow... w00t!

Well... if you can't tell by the title... I have a field trip tomorrow! Me and my best friends, and their best friends, will be taking on the state capital! w00t! maybe we will get to watch them hang John Rowland... haha (for those of you who don't know, John Rowland is the Connecticut state governer, and he used state funds (my tax dollars! well... my parents...) to put an addition on his cottage... and some other stuff... so now he's going to court, and possible being impeached) The past few years in Connecticut government has seen a lot of scandal and corruption. The previous mayor of Waterbury (or something with a "W") is currently in jail for sexually assaulting (or mollesting... or raping... I'm not quite sure) a young girl, or was it two? I don't know. I think there is another mayor that is in jail, or was taken out of office last year as well... ANYWAY we're going to the state capitol, Hartford... and me and Kayleigh, and her boyfriend Josh, and our friend Kate, and some other acquaintances as well, are all in the same group! w00t! and then... McDonalds! yayayayaya!
Tomorrow will be a busy day... First block, then leaving for Hartford at about 9:30... returning at 2:00, then last block (Civics, which is what the field trip is for) for 22 minutes before school ends. Then come home for an hour and go to my doctors appointment, then go to babysitting. Saturday, my parents leave for the Islands... -_- so jealous! Oh well, I can't wait to be home alone for 2 weeks!
Joey came over after school today, twas fun. We watched anime music videos, and some anime parodies, and talked about anime, it's funny how we get along so well when we have very little in common (minus the anime) I bet I would think he's a real obnoxious jerk if he didn't like anime, and wasn't friends with Sam... he's such a dick on the bus... lol. He likes to yell out innapropriate stuff... stuff about me... which I will not mention... because it's only partially true... hahahahah. He's fun though ^_^
After much begging, I've convinced Chrissy to bring me to the mall sometime soon. I really need some new pants... but she HATES clothes shopping with me, because she says I'm too skinny. I'm allowed to buy bras though... *emberassed* hahaha
Well, it's 10:30, I should do homework... and pack a bag for tomorrow... I'm out ^_^
PS: hope you like the new entry format.... I'm gonna try and keep it like this, if I can remember

early to bed...
2004-01-07 21:01:05
Well, I didn't take a nap today... which is quite an accomplishment for me, because I get VERY tired after a long day of sitting and thinking... I kept telling myself that I would be going to bed early, but 10:00 is fast approaching...
I took the bus home today... which wasn't as bad as usual... since Joey was there ^_^ we talked about anime, Miyazaki's works in particular, he didn't know that Miyazaki has done as much as he has, he's only heard of, what I consider, the typical, most popular, five (Spirited Away, Mononoke, Laputa, Totoro, and Kiki's) After a rousing discussion of Miyazaki, I came home and downloaded an excellent Totoro music video (Curiosity made by the member Slide) which was too a song called Flyswatter by Eels. The other night, Jamie told me to download Souljacker part 1 by Eels, so I did, and I really liked it, which is partially why I downloaded the music video. So I went and downloaded a lot of Eels songs (I wanna buy the albums! I truly do! I don't like pirating music!! or anything for that matter!)
Here's my school schedule for tomorrow: Block 1: Algebra 2, learning. Block 2: Biology, playing the board games we all made. Block 3: Painting, painting... duh! I'm way behind -_-''' Block 4: Civics, playing the board games we made... so my day is filled with board game playing... I wish I didn't have to learn so early in the morning -_-
I got the exam schedule too! w00t! not next week, but the following, is exams. Monday: No school, MLK jr. Day (also my friend Darlene's 17th birtday! yay Dardar!!!!) Tuesday: Painting exam, 30 minute break, Biology exam *scared* Wednesday: Civics exam *must have study group with Kayleigh* Thursday: Algebra 2. I was really afraid I would have Bio and math in the same day... thank kami-sama that I don't!
well, it's 10:00 now, but I'm probably gonna stay up and talk to ppl -_- I hate myself... I'm out

getting back to the daily grind
2004-01-06 22:42:13
It's only Tuesday... 3 more days of school to go until the weekend. Luckily, I have a field trip on Friday that will get me out of 2 classes. I have 2 tests tomorrow, Algebra 2 and Biology o_O eeks! I've come to realize how extremely planned my days are... maybe not planned... I can't find the word... but every day is the same. Alarm goes off at 6:15... turn it off and sleep in until my dad says "Chelsea, you have 10 minutes before the bus comes! get up!" I brush my hair and teeth, get dressed, and rush out the door, run through the woods, and arrive at the bus stop several minutes before the bus comes, and talk to my friend Ashley. On the bus, I sit and dread the coming day. When I arrive at school, I unpack my bag into my locker, then hang out with Kayleigh until the bell rings. I then attend my 4 classes for the day, and take the bus home. Upon my arrival home, I go to my room, and sit at my computer for about an hour. Then, I take a nap. Ah sweet nap... around 7:00 my parents tell me to get up for dinner. After that, I'll watch television, or go on my computer, until I decide it's time for homework, which usually doesn't happen.
Lately, I've been watching Pete and Pete. I've only downloaded 2 episodes so far. I didn't really appreciate the show so much when I was younger, but now that I look back on it, I really wish it was still on the air. Polaris, an old band of Mark Mulcahey, does all the music for it, that's why I decided to download it.
Today in Civics, my class went to the computer lab. I was sitting between Kayleigh, and our fellow group member Peter, whom which I used to be very close with, but we hardly ever talk anymore, coincidentally, he lives right next door to Chrissy. I brought up Mark Mulcahey's website and said to myself, and to Kayleigh "Mark Mulcahey rocks!" Peter turns to me and says "wait... what did you just say." I repeat myself, and to that he replies "do you mean like... Miracle Legion?" I was astonished that someone else had heard of him, and Miracle Legion "yeah, but I'm really more into his band Polaris, which did all the music for Pete and Pete" we got into a discussion, and apparently his dad knows Mark, and he has his autograph and I guess he has his CD, and an old cassette of Pete and Pete music... how jealous am I? so so jealous!
My CD burner is being wonky =( I'm hoping for a 52x speed burner for my birthday... cause I wanna burn a Mark Mulcahey CD!!!!!! ugh! well, I have nothing to say... I'm out
