I slept over Kayleigh's last night, twas fun. We went to the school musical, Guys and Dolls, with her sister and my parents. And we met up with Tony and Tad and all sat together in the ass of the theater (assigned seats... but we cheated a bit) It was pretty good, I liked last years presentation of Grease better. With all the interest I've been taking in college recently, I really should sign up for some extracurriculars, maybe I'll try out for the musical next year... who knows.
We got back around 10 or something like that, and then we called Sam... bringing me two best friends together... FINALLY! I was totally hyped up... I hope he likes her ^_^ Then we watched The Princess Bride. I've never seen it before. It was pretty good... for what it was (did that make sense?) I'm obsessed with Prince Humperdink... oh god.. I just think the name is sooooo funny. Every time I think about it I just burst out laughing... HUMPERDINK! hahahaha.
OH MAN! I was at Stop and Shop with my mom yesterday... and I saw those little Valentine card things... so I was like "wow, I'm gonna be really dumb this year, and get valentines for all my friends!" It was a tough decision between the Ninja Turtles valentines, and the Hello Kitty ones. I got Hello Kitty. Haha, the things that valentines say on them are just really dumb! Then my mom was like "are you going to get candy?" the idea hadn't struck me, but I decided to. So I'm browsing the valentines candy and I pick up a few bags. Then I get to the end of the aisle, where they have like.. the valentines presents. and Holy Crap... my day had finally come! I saw those dancing hampster things! Valentines day ones! and I just thought "wow... Sam and Kayleigh are gonna HATE me!" cause I got one for each of them. They're so dumb it's funny. For Kayleigh, I got one that was in a shiny silver jumpsuit, really futuristic looking, and it sings "Love Machine" haha, and it has these three little lights on it's chest that flash and light up. haha, it's funny. And for Sam, I got one that's dressed up as a devil and it sings "hot stuff" haha, I can't wait to give Sam and Kayleigh their presents ^_^ I gotta mail Sam's out soon! and I gotta go get them real cards too!
I'm really excited for this week. Here are the reasons
1) I get to go back to school! (dunno why I'm excited...)
2) I'll finish my current drawing for my ind. study
3) I'll get to start drawing Brian's guitar! YES!
4) I get to give Sam and Kayleigh their presents!
5) I'M GOING TO SEE DANE COOK! MY FAVORITE COMEDIAN! OMG!!!! today I just thought "hey, I'll go to Dane Cook's website" and I clicked on the "tour schedule" button, and he has a show at UCONN on Thursday! so I'm gonna get tickets tomorrow ^_^ I can't wait!!!! He was the first comedian I ever saw on Comedy Central Presents, and he's really what got me into comedy and stuff like that... I LOVE HIM! seriously... if my dad wasn't going with us... I'd run up and hump him...

Well, I was finally ready to go to school today! The last 3 days I had to tell Brian every night that I wouldn't be in school, so he didn't have to give me a ride... But last night, oh I was ready. I said to Brian "I'm ready to go back to school!" and he said he would pick me up. But we had a snow day today... and I was just like "What the deuce?!" Now don't get me wrong, I love snow days. And one on a Friday is just mint... but... well... I've been out for 3 days already! I went to school ONE DAY this week! And Feb. break is coming up the week after next! It's like I get two vacations! I won't be reading a whole book this weekend, well, actually... I probably will FINALLY finish Stupid White Men, if I get a chance... But I won't be reading The Count of Monte Cristo =( which was assigned in English on Thursday. Oh how I want to read it!
Tomorrow Kayleigh is coming over! yay! We haven't hung out at all this year yet! Except for studying for like... an hour one day in early January. I even tidied up my room a bit ^_^ I cleaned off my desk! Anyway, we're gonna have lots of fun. Tomorrow I'm gonna go out and buy lots of snackies for us =P and probably rent some movies. Maybe my mom will bring us to the mall so we can get Dippin Dots! OOOooooOOOoo I hope she will ^_^ Then we shall return home for a Fushigi Yuugi marathon and our other random craziness. Sam also promised to call tomorrow night, and he said he would actually follow through this time... I hope he does, cause I really want him to talk to Kayleigh! I need my two best friends in the world to meet! They did once a year ago for like... an hour... but that didn't count, I barely remember it, and I don't think they talked much... but whatever.
I also got an account on fanfiction.net and fictionpress.com under the penname chirusea-chan (surprised?) I wrote an alternate ending to Lord of The Flies for an English thing I had to do... and gave it to Kayleigh to proof read for me to see if there was anything I should fix. I gave it to her because she is a really great writer, she writes these AMAZING LOTR fanfics. if you're into that, definitly check her out! she's me132 at fanfiction.net But, also, I put up a small teaser for a story on fictionpress.com. If it is well received, then I'll write more... I hope ppl like it... ^.^

Took today off of school, I got nasty thing in my throat... it hurts to swallow, it's all right now, but it's horrible in the morning. I called Chrissy to get me some ice cream, and she could barely recognize me.
Even though I'm only a sophmore, I've started looking at colleges. I made the final decision that I would be going to art school. It was a weird decision, because I always told myself "I don't want to make something I love my career, becuase someday I might end up hating it, and then I'm stuck in a career I don't like, and hating something I once loved" I also told myself that I would only choose art school as a last resort, in case I couldn't think of anything else... Well I gave up on trying to think of a career choice, and stuck myself with art. The work I have been doing in my independent study is coming out really well, and I'm really proud of myself and how much I've improved. Anyway, I called up Kayleigh last night, and here is a tidbit of our converstion...
Me: yeah, I was looking at colleges lately, I decided I'm gonna go to art school
Kayleigh: no way! I was looking at colleges yesterday too!
Me: haha, you're kidding me right? Where were you looking at?
Kayleigh: Rhode Island School of Design
Me: AH! YOU CREEP ME OUT! THAT'S WHERE I WAS LOOKING AT!
Kayleigh: we spend too much time together...
haha, I love my Kayleigh! *huggle* so we're both looking at art school, how weird would it be if we ended up at the same college?! Other than RISD, I'm also looking at the Art Institute of Boston (AIB) Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and Main College of Art (MECA) Another place I'm looking at is Hallmark Institute of Photography. It's only a 10 month school, so I thought maybe I would do that either before or after I attend one of my other choices. I need to order the new US News and World Report best colleges issue for 2004. I have the 2003 one, but it doesn't have any info on AIB, or Hallmark.
Neither Hallmark nor MICA require SATs (SCORE!) but my parents are gonna make me take them anyway. Plus, the other schools I want to attend require them. And even if they didn't, I would take them anyway... just feel like I should. My mom is going to sign me up for the SAT prep course at school, Chrissy says it's well worth taking. I plan on getting at least a 1200 on my SATs... haha, plan... how can I plan on something like that when I don't study?
I'm getting really excited about college, even though it's over 2 years away... I hope I can develop my skills enough to get accepted somewhere... I know that MECA has a 90% acceptance rate o_O but that's actually my last choice, since I don't wanna go too far from home. My first choices right now are RISD and AIB.

Here's a quick rundown of my Friday classes...
Block 1: Spanish 3 - We're still reviewing and doing new stuff at the same time... it's not that bad, since apparently I don't really need the review as badly as I thought. But we're currently reviewing a tense of verbs that my class never learned, since we were behind o_O so I'm a little confused... but I'm sure I'll catch on.
Block 2: English - This is the best class EVER! it's so much fun! I never really liked English before this, but Mr. Walsh is just so much fun! I actually look forward to this class. Next week we have a vocab test and a composition on The Lord of The Flies due. I'm gonna rewrite the ending so everyone dies.... I think it would be more realistic that way... maybe I'm just morbid though... I dunno. We got assigned another book, but I'll probably read it all tonight. And we're going to start The Count of Monte Cristo soon! w00t!
Block 3: Advanced Topics - This class is so hard, mostly because Mrs. White doesn't explain ANYTHING, she just gives us the theory, but no example problems,and sends us home and expects us to just UNDERSTAND! but we don't. Oh well, I understand what we're doing now, and it's simple. And if I have trouble, I can always ask Chris to help me out ^_^
Block 4: Independent Study in Drawing - I love this! Ending the day with drawing is so relaxing. And I just bring my backpack to class, because Brian's car is parked right outside ^_^ I'm currently drawing just a simple wrapped box, with a bow on top. I've only finished the bow so far, but it's absolutely AMAZING! I'm loving the way it's coming out! I can't wait to see how it looks when it's finished. Hopefully it will only take me one or two more class periods to do *crosses fingers* because as soon as I finish it, Brian said he would lend me his guitar so I can draw it o_O I'm so happy! I can't wait to start!
After school was babysitting. It was soooo easy last night... you have no idea! While she watched movies, I just sat down and did my homework. After I put her to bed and finished my homework, I watched Comedy Central Presents, and Monk, and then went to bed. I got home at 9:30, and now I have the whole day ^_^
Today my mom and I are going out. I need to buy a new phone card, because last time I was on the phone with Sam, a voice came over saying "you have 2 minutes remaining" it was creepy, so now I need to go buy a new 10 hour card... I also need to go to the bank and deposit some money, because I don't wanna just have $300 just sitting around anymore... it's dangerous, I might not be able to control myself...

Me and Chris and Chrissy went to Saybrook today to get a present for my mom's birthday, but the store we were at closed at 6:00!! so we couldn't find something fast enough, oh well, I'll let her pick out her own present and I'll get it for her ^_^ Then we stopped by Dunkin Donuts and got sausage egg and cheese sandwiches, and coffee. I shouldn't be drinking coffee since I have to take drugs to get me to sleep... but still! ah, hazelnut coffee so good *drool*
Chrissy came over after school and we did our Topics homework, it was nice to work together. We haven't really been getting along lately, and we've been giving eachother an attitude, but today we got along really well, it was nice. I still have Spanish homework though, and a drawing that I haven't been working on. It's of a really cool ninja sword my brother has, it's beautiful, I hope that my drawing will do it justice. If it comes out well, I'm hoping that Mr. Kropwinicki, an art teacher that has his own studio in which he does steel sculptures, will help me make a really cool frame for it. I already have a really cool idea for it ^_^ I hope that my drawing comes out well.
I was laying on the floor in English today, before class started, and Kayleigh made a comment about me being fat, and if you know me... well... I'm 5' 2'' and I weigh about 90 lbs... so... not fat at all. And I was going to say "oh yeah, look at this massive flab right here" and grab my "flab" but I couldn't do it! hahaha, it was really funny. I was like "ah! I can't grab my flab!" cause I got rock hard flabs (rhymes with abs... hahaha... or not..?) then I said "no way! I love pink! it's a cool color, don't ya think" and it rhymed, and it was funny... and I need to stop doing rhyming jokes...
Tomorrow is Friday! yay! Today was my mom's 46th birthday! happy birthday mom! and Tuesday was my aunt's 43rd birthday! happy birthday aunt wendy ^_^ I feel bad that I didn't get either of them presents... but I tried! I really did!
I definitly have to go to the bank on Saturday... I don't like having a lot of money on me... because from my previous entry... well, if I have a lot of money on me, I tend to buy everything I want... and that isnt' a good situation. I gotta save up for Otakon, and hopefully Montana ^_^
well, I gotta take a shower and do mi tarea de Espaņol (Spanish homework) so... I'm out ^_^
