  • oops 2003-12-12 23:01:50 forgot to mention, when I ordered Kayleigh's Christmas present, they only sent one of the DVD box sets... so I wrote a polite e-mail informing the people at dvdonsale of their mistake, here was their reply

  • oooo holidays! 2003-12-12 22:58:08 The holidays are upon us! w00t! spent $80 on Kayleigh (cause she is my best friend and I love her!) spent $40 on Sam (cause he is my best friend and I love him!) spent about $60 on my brother, cause he totally rocks, but I'll probably be getting him more stuff. spent $15 on Chrissy, but I'll be buying her another present that costs about $40, she already knows what it is, and her friend Aaron is probably gonna bring us to the store so we can get it ^_^ I spent only $13 on my mom, but I am buying her and my dad a joint present that will cost $85, only person I have left to shop for is my dad (cause I wanna get him something else) and maybe Tony, not sure if I'm gonna get him something yet... or what to get him.... for the rest of my friends, they get homemade candy ^_^ well... everyone gets that, but the ppl I listed above are more special than everyone else and they deserve a million presents! ooooo I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the holidays.

    I mean, it's not just getting presents anymore, like it was when I was... younger... these past few years have been really great. I love seeing snow on the ground, I love looking at the Christmas tree, I love buying presents for all my friends, I love making candy, I love how happy my friends are when they get the presents I gave them, I love it when my friends say "this is the best present ever!" cause I try so hard to get nice stuff, I love seeing all my family on Christmas Eve, I love the nice long vacation, I love seeing friends who have come back to visit for the holidays (no Sam or Andrew this year =( oh well, but still Jason and all the other college ppl!)

    Today, right after school, I took the bus home... apparently I was NOT supposed to do that... no one told me Chrissy was gonna pick me up to bring me to work =( so my parents drove me to work at 3:00 and I worked till 5:00 (woot! $23.50! I got a raise, $11.75! that's a $1.50 raise!) then Chris picked me up and we went shopping, he only wanted to go to the store to get something for Chrissy that he needed my help with, but I needed to go to walmart and get some blank CDs, and we ended up going to some other stores and getting presents for other ppl ^.^''' I'm turining into my mom... he didn't want to go shopping with my mom cause she always makes him go into other stores... haha. Then, while we were in the area, we visited Chrissy at work (she works at EB games, right next to walmart!) we got home around 9:00 and then I spent about an hour wrapping presents, oh how I love to wrap presents! I also talked to my "ex" (I use quotes cause we were never really going out, but we "were in love" or so he says... I dunno, whatever) he went into the airforce in August, but it was nice to talk to him, even though I tell people that I hate him, I dunno though, I always act friendly towards him, and it seems like nothing ever happened between us... and I'd like to keep it that way! meh, whatever though, no one wants to read about my dumb fskin love life I'm sure...

    anyway, I'm exhausted! I've been a day off all week (I kept thinking Monday was Tuesday, Tuesday was Wednesday, etc) and today... it doesn't seem like Friday, I keep thinking I have school tomorrow... thankfully I don't, but my brother does have his last exam tomorrow, sucks for him =P

    I'm really getting into Radiohead right now. I downloaded some REALLY GREAT amvs to some of their songs, even though I don't like FLCL, I really like some of the music vids that are out there for it. I'm gonna try and watch FLCL again though, since Sam loves it so much... ugh... what a dork =P I lurv him though ^_^ (yes lurv!)

    well, seems like the only present I have the resources to make right now are all those AMV CDs I promised to make for Sam's friend (my friend I guess too...) Jamie... I'm gonna burn him all the AMVs I have o_O that's like... 5 CDs... meh, whatever, I promised them to him a long time ago... but this way I can get away with giving them to him as a present ^_^ but he isn't talking to me right now cause I wouldn't tell him what I got Sam for Christmas... haha, he's not talking to me till January! haha, his loss...

    wow, this is getting long, I had an eventfu day I guess... ok, I'm out

    Me: WHAT?! o_O

    apparently my parents were going leaving for 2 day one night stay in New York Tuesday morning... when I asked Chris, it was Sunday night. So, Tuesday night, the night my parents were out, I got 5 hours of sleep... so tired when I woke up o_O I had to make my own lunch... meaning I had a juice and 3 oreos... haha. All day during school I was just thinking "all I have to do is get through the day... then I can go home and nap" but then I realized I had to stay after to take a test... When I called my aunt to see if she could come pick me up she asked "do you wanna start earning some money for Christmas" "hell ya!" I reply "Wanna start today?" she asks me... being stupid, and with the prospect of earning money blinding me to the fact that I was exhausted, I accepted. (My aunt and uncle own a business together that they run from in their garage) so I went to work, getting paid $10.50 an hour for counting and cutting gaskets! It totally rocks, easy money, but my feet and thumbs are killing me (feet from standing, thumbs from operating the machine to cut the gaskets) I got my first paycheck today ^_^ yay money! yay job that isn't babysitting!

    well I got home around 6:00, ate dinner, took a shower, talked to some ppl, went to bed at 8:30... Parentals got home around 10:30, I didn't have to make my own lunch this morning! yay for daddy ^_^ and tonight, my mom is making me a breakfast burrito for dinner! (I don't like what everyone else is having, and I've been craving one cause I keep seeing the commercials for the breakfast burritos from Sonic...) yay burrito! wow, this is some dumb ramblings... I'll stop now...

    well I ended the last one kind of abruptly, and didn't get to talk about everything else that's been going on.

    Everyone went back to college today =( I didn't even get to say bye *tear* oh well, there's always Holiday break ^_^ MY BROTHER GETS A MONTH OFF! how jealous am I? so so jealous! but I love him because he remedied my computer today ^_^ what a sweety. But to complete my last thought, my best friend also returned from her trip to New Jersey ^_^ yay! I've been so alone this vacation without her around... (because, ya know, I only have one friend... lol) It's kinda true actually... Kayleigh is the only one I really enjoy hanging out with outside of school. Besides Sam, but seeing him isn't an option, and Chrissy, who I see whether I want to or not...

    oooo I got $49 for babysitting for one kid, for 5 hours... and she was only awake for 2.5 of those hours... which totally rocks! I can't wait to totally splurge my money on Christmas presents for my friends ^_^ I love Christmas! My dad and I just put up the tree today, and we stacked lots of wood... Winter is coming! I can't wait for... SNOW! I hate shoveling out the car, but everything gets so pretty!

    By the way... I relived Thanksgiving tonight... my mom made a turkey, stuffing, potatoes, cranberry, etc... Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday... that comes but twice a year... which I don't mind... but only 3 days apart? meh...

    k, well, after 2nd thanksgiving, I'm feeling a bit weary...

  • blargh! 2003-11-30 14:07:09 death! death!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my computer has a virus... or somthing! carp! haha, and the banner at the top of the page right now (for me) is the "f*ck it" key... oh man I need one of those...

    Luckily I have my wonderful brother who can reformat my hard drive ^_^ what a nice boy... I'm long overdue anyway... I filled up 12 700MB CDs of stuff I need to keep o_O I'm asking my parents for a 200gig external drive for Christmas... oh how I want one! I would even be satisfied with just 80! but 200... imagine how much crap I could collect and store and not have to worry about! *daydreaming* I'm a pack rat ^_^
