I was hoping to save up for an at least $1500.00 or so, but instead I got a $600.00 one. Didn't expect my laptop to die as early as it did so I had to settle for less. Well, I gotta get some stuff done so I'll update more later.

Got my old name back. Thanks mod, or admin, whomever changed it, if you guys ever read this stuff. I think it suits me more than my studio name. I'm a gamer more than an editor.
Speaking of gaming, I'm getting my handle back on F-Zero X. And one of my friends had Rush 2 all along. I remember when that first came out and I was drinking Mountain Dew to get all the Mountain Dew cans. In one day. Still no comp on Smash Bros and Mario Kart (both on 64), though.
On a different note, I'm on Chapter 4 of Disgaea. Been mostly doing the story part. Only been to the item world once. Laharl's level is way higher than the rest and haven't been creating new characters or anything. I figured on my second round of the game I'll do more of the other stuff. Which is true for the rest of my games. And I'm starting to get an idea...
So I discovered that PS1 games can be played on the PSP, and out of the small list of games is Twisted Metal 2 and Jet Moto 2. And I go on to discover that it looks like you need a PS3 to transfer it to the PSP. Damnit. Well, it may not be the case, but I can wait...

It can read regular CDs, but it can't play DVDs. Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later, I been having problems ever since a year after I got it. Which was three years ago. Damn I can't believe this piece of shit is still working. The way it's set up now you can scramble an egg on it. Hmm... No I'd better not try. Well, at least it still gets me to the internets and I can (somewhat) edit on it. Now I gotta get me an external DVD drive, since that I have to wait (way) longer to get my new laptop. Sigh...

I decide to do some "intense" cleaning, which I don't usually do. I hooked up my portable speakers on my laptop (the laptop speakers sucks, on high volume anyway) and start playing some tunes. Damn, most of it's from back in the late 90s and early 2000's. I know I listened to some of them last week, about 10 songs or so, and I said I needed to update, but actually I'm quite comfortable with em. Some of them Imma delete, but most of em just reminds me of back in the days. Kinda like how people grow attachments to stuff. People would probably call the music "stale" but it's hard for me to tire of something once I grow a liking to it. I dunno, I guess I'm tryna live 8 years in the past or something.
And unlike when I was back in college, I don't get "ideas" when listening. Times change, I suppose. No, time doesn't change. People change within time.
