  • Well I wonder. 2003-08-18 15:53:15 Okay.. Now, Im all fine with people making AMV's... Hell isnt that what most of us here do..But I have a rant.. Now.. I know.. We all have shitty amv's... Or that AMV you iron chef in 2 hours for fun.. or one you just get a whim of a idea on.. and do really quick to get that thought that will be consuming you outta your head.. because admit it.. it happens, you get a song/anime idea in head.. and it pounds the hell outta ya until you at least give it a try or do it.. I have vids like that.. I take breaks from my main vid, Im working on at the time, and make little crappy vids inbetween for a break.. BUT in no way do I push those videos on people.. or make people watch them or try to claim they are the best amv ever fucking made.. My Killer Pan Video for example.. chop chop chop... done.. I posted it on here.. because it is cute.. but i didnt and will not ever push the vid.. or pimp it.. or claim its abso-fuckety-licious. Or say I have the most original ideas.. Lord knows i dont .. haha Look at my AMV list.. of ones Ive made..
    Popular Songs/Popular anime... But does anyone really really wanna see what i would make. It would be like Sisters of Mercy/Bauhaus/Cocteau Twins Amv's to lots of ping pong club, battleskippers and his and her and gestalt.. Anyhow.. I think time needs to be put in a amv, we all have those rare exceptions, when something flows out of us so wonderful.. and fits together perfectly and doesnt take forever yes.. but I think those are rare exceptions.. and of course when you have a amv you make like that 90 percent of the time its gonna mean something to you.. at least thats how i feel..
    But some people pimp and pimp and pimp.. and push.. and really take criticism to heart... NME everytime i talk to him pounds me for clocks.. and how horrible it is.. Do I care No? Why the hell take it to heart... its just a video... And while its personal to me.. I dont know NME from a piece of dog poop in the park.. so who the hell cares right?
    But some people are virtual diarhea AMV machines.. pooping out crap every 3 days.. and I dont understand.. it takes me like 2 weeks of listening to the song and watching anime, cutting clips from anime.. to even make the idea a full realization in my head, then again i may take this all to seriously... And then editing omg.. i could edit for months if i dont have a deadline or a reason to finish.. i love editing.. could do it forever..

    Take Its Raining Pokemen for example. Oh God I wanna finish.. Wanna send to AWA..but. Why rush it.. theres next year, or some other con.. or something... Ive went through 12 episodes of pokemon.. i still dont have enough footage, another 8 episodes should be here wednesday.. and I still doubt it will be enough.. Does anyone ever put thought in to amv's anymore.. does anyone sit there for 2 hours and work on a 3 second lip synch to make it perfect? i sure hope so...
    Or im just a fucking idiot. :P oooh falling asleep going to take a nap
    And Nopers Fyrt, no live journal.. would like to have one though.. i do read yours :)

  • Weekend 2003-08-18 01:48:09 So this was a eventful weekend i guess.. With the flat tire and gay neighbors and stuff..

    Then I slept for like 12 hours today
    it was so nice
    i went to bed at like 5ish AM i think.. and woke up at 530 this afternoon, then i went to dinner at houlihans.. and then i went and got both nipples pierced.. awww yeah... rock on! They are a repiercing but still i love getting piercings such a high ya know... im going to go back in 2 months and get more, gotta wait for these to heal first :)

    Anyhow, went to walmart, bought some jeans.. lovely size 5 jeans.. size 5.. size 5 JUNIORS.. omg im so happy... whats even funnier in womens im like a size 3... haha i quit shopping at target because nothing there fits me.. 4s swamp me and half the time they dont have 3's and twos are just a little too tight cuz of my bootay.. but anyhow.. Life is getting better
    So much better
