  • DWChang - Not what I meant. 2004-03-05 13:51:22 I was referring to the misspelling of my name, actually, not the list of AMVs on anyone's computer.

    And yes, I'm pretty sure now that I did mean MexicanJunior and not Koop. My mistake.

    But anyway:
    This is interesting. "Under Ice" now has more direct downloads and more local downloads than either of my other two (significant) videos, and it's currently sitting at #7 on the Top 10% list (for a while it had been sitting at #2), but it's now got the lowest star average of any of my videos, at 3.89.

    I think that's why I stopped updating my spreadsheet of my videos' progress on the all-time and weekly Star Scales a week or two ago. For some reason, I just don't care about the stars anymore. 
  • Misspellings 2004-03-01 09:11:27 I know DWChang (and probably other people as well) has done this before as a joke, but it wasn't until I checked out Koopiskeva's list of AMVs on his computer that I realized people might be doing it inadvertently.

    My name is "Scintilla" with ONLY TWO I's. NOT "Scintillia".

    If you look it up, you'll find that "scintilla" is also a real English word, though I didn't know that back in 1997 when I adopted it for use as an all-purpose online identity. 
  • For anyone encountering link problems 2004-02-21 23:48:14 Well, I just got back from a 6-hour anime showing to find out that 1and1.com froze my site because I exceeded the 5 GB/month bandwidth limit without having given them my credit card info so that they could bill me for the extra traffic.

    Suckage.

    I gave them my info as soon as I found out, so the problem should be resolved and the Direct link working once again sometime soon. Their e-mail did say, though, that it could take as long as 12 hours for them to process the change and un-freeze my site.

    Just so everyone knows I'm aware of the problem.
