JOURNAL: CodeZTM (Zackary )

  • F is for Fan [and the shit HATH HITTETH] 2010-06-12 02:44:59 Our summer intern was in charge of the front page this week. Now... Usually, we have about 5 people proofreading this thing. Me, my boss, my boss's boss, a lackey and our token old person. Unfortunetely, me and everyone but the token old person had this evening off for various reasons, leaving proofing to the intern and the old person. I mean... Proofing is the gooniest of goony things that journalists do, and a 14 year old could do it.

I just got home and downloaded everything down for this week [for the website related things].

12 spelling errors, and our headline is "ELECTION RESULTS ARE EN"

This intern has so much shit coming her way. I mean, you have no clue how devestating this will be. They will eat her alive. I called her up [it's 2 AM, LOL] and let her know her ass is grass and that she should send an apology e-mail to half of our staff.

The lasxt time this occurred, we had about 2 people get fired on the spot. Not so much about the errors, but more about they way they handled it and tried to blame somebody else.

    She owes me. XD
  • P is for Pokermanz 2010-06-11 12:48:51 The new Gen V pokemon have been revealed! And by new, I mean the series staples!

I especially love the Chinchilla. :D
  • H is for Heroman 2010-06-09 01:56:31 This is a really cute anime. :D

I love teh fact that it's actually set in America. That's a pretty rare thing to see. Although one thing is really kind of bugging me. Pretty much ALL the characters are light haired colored. I know that light hair color is more common in America than in Asia, but DAMN, we're not all blondies around here. xD

Oh, and we do not all scarf down as much junk food/cheeseburgers as they imply. Just 65% of America. :3

/watching Heroman to save self from DRRR! withdrawal

  • T is for The Speed Gamers 2010-06-08 15:40:45 www.thespeedgamers.com

The upcoming Mario Marathon starts June 11th at 6:00PM and will run for a week straight (168 Hours). We will be playing through a lot of the Mario games while raising money for ACT Today (http://www.act-today.org/).

TheSpeedGamers have been streaming video game marathons for over a year to raise money for various charities. In total they have raised over $140,000 dollars and played 17 marathons. They have raised over $50,000 in their week long Final Fantasy Marathon, and have made multiple news appearances. This upcoming marathon will be for ACT Today. This charity provides grant money for families that cannot afford or access the treatments their autistic children need.

During the marathon we will have multiple contests to win various prizes. Some are contributed by TheSpeedGamers' gracious community members.

Come for the games, stay for the awesome community. :D
  • C is for Call out 2010-06-08 01:10:11 Calling out for beta testers for a video. Howl's Moving Castle + Romance/Storytelling.

Both looking for visual quality testing as well as sync and other goodies.

Anyway, it's still in progress of being completed, but I want testing to occur as I'm working on it.

[If I've already contacted you about this, don't worry, you've already gotten the latest beta, or will soon be sent the latest]

Kind of similar to Betwixt and Between, but actually has good visual quality AND being released in HD as well as standard.

    Sooo.. I can haz testors?
