I'm very sad. Not because of anything with my life, but because the computer I'm currently on belongs to my aunt and uncle, and they've treated this poor thing so poorly I feel sorry for it. It needs a OS wipe, a better fan, and a desk that isn't a disaster area. Poor computer. :*(

Finally settled the issue with my Starcraft II shipment. The postal system finally admitted somebody stole it, and I was able to prove that, so now I've gotten a digital copy downloading at home.
ITS ABOUT DAMN TIME.
Meanwhile, I purchased the original Pikmin and have been having a great time playing that in the meantime. It's so adorable, and it's really fun. :D
As for video games, they're gonna take a small backseat. While I'm LOADED right now thanks to the remaineder of my scholarship money, I'd like to conserve it so that it lasts until my next disbursement comes in January. That means about $200 extra each month outside of my usual paychecks [which now total about $200 a week and $85 every two weeks!].

Classes are HARD this semester.
Intermediate Accounting I : AHHHHHHH. I have nearly 20 pages of financial statements and problems to go through every night! It's really fast paced, and we've had 10 people drop and switch majors already!
Federal I: AHHHHH. SOOOO. MUCHHHH. READING.... AHHHHH! It's gonna be hard to memorize all of this. Plus, I'm supposed to be able to do a tax return by the end of November, and actually FILE ONE OUT. At least I work at a firm where I'm sure they'll help me look it over! :D
World Civ 2: Still better than the jackass I had last semester, but the doctor is really intimidating and very frightening to all the freshman in the class. Although I really love how she teaches, and I think I'm really gonna learn something from her. ;)
Marketing: AHHHHHHHHH. This was supposed to be my blowoff class! Now they've got the FUCKING DEAN OF BUSINESS teaching it, and it's like an entirely different course! No rest for the weary. :(
Online Management: Ok... I should be able to passively work on this one, and still get an A and not have to put too much work into it.
But still.... 4 HARD classes and 1 blowoff class does not a happy Code make. IT MAKES A STRESSED CODE. ONE THAT BLOWS UP COMPUTERS. >_< -

Back in 2006 [when I first started], I purchased Hikaru No Go, and watched the first 10 episodes or so and then I became interested in other anime and quickly let another friend borrow it. They lost it. I was pissed.
So seeing it arrive back in the mailbox today with "I found this when I cleaned my room" was rather pleasent. Finally getting back into the show!
Although I'm pissed off.
While back in 2006 I probably wouldn't have noticed it, the DVDs I got were so painfully bootlegged, the quality sucks and the subtitles are awful.
BLARG. I sincerly hope I don't get the urge to make an AMV with this show, because I'll end up spending a fortune on legit DVD's.

FABULOUS PEOPLE. The chorus parts could use a little more speed/movements, some scenes could use replacement, and it has a few MINOR technical issues, but it's still fantastic. Has great flow/feel, and matches the music FANTASTICALLY. GO GETS IT NAO. [Especially if you love a nice fun/upbeat/dramatic romance amv. :D]

Oh, and Betwixt and Between II is ALMOST done. I've got a few more people I want to test it with outside of my usual circle, and then I'll announce and enter it into cons. :D
As much work/effort as I've put into this one, it's still not my favorite work. Believe it or not, I still had about a million times more fun working with everybody on the Disney MEP, and coordinating Project NeoEditor. But I still lubz it. :D

My next AMV is already in concept staging. SEe that first AMV I posted? Well, I loved the song/combo so much, I want to do it to Spirited Away or something Miazaki only. I was amazed at how well the song worked with Miyazaki's style.
Or I was also planning to do something for Yaoicon with it. I've still yet to make a Gravitation AMV, and that saddens me too.
Bakemonogatari would also be something fun to use it with.
Hell, EF's on my list of things to tinker with too.
AHHHH. SO MANY CONCEPTS/IDEAS. XD

Today I walked in and started back up with the documentation for the database. About an hour in, my boss dumps a file about the size of a small rig onto my desk. "This firm is about to close down and needs us to do all of their records for the past 4 years. Welcome to the wonderful world of accounting!"
Luckily, I had a little help figuring out where everything went, but tomorrow I'm on my own!
Also, holy crap... There is so much intricite details with accounting that our teachers have neglected to mention. >_< Hopefully I won't drown in the paperwork! :D
Also, classes will be hard this semester. YUCK.

Walked into office
"Zack! Glad you're here. Here's a software that will make us a paperless office. We have ZERO clue how to use it, have 900 clients that need to be added into it, and need you to work on inputting all their data from 2009, as well as all correspondence and permanent files. Don't worry. You do get a scanner."
It's like a dream come true. ;_________;
I may not be doing payrolls or actual accounting, but I'm like a Messiah in this place, because I know how to work software and computers. :D
