Pokemon Black/White is probably one of the BEST games I've ever played EVER. It's taken the routine pokemon formula and thrown it out of a moving bus. The ending has such a FREAKING TWIST that it makes M.Night Shamalayn do a double take.
SPOILERS AHEAD
1) After you defeat the elite four, and right before you challenge the champion, your antagonist swoops in, summons forth ancient ruinsy, DESTROYS the Elite Four/Champion castle ruins and begins to destroy the world.
2) You run after him, only to have the ultimate sages of the Team Plasma to stand in your way and prepare to trounce you. ALL THE ISSHU GYM LEADERS STEP IN AND KICK THEIR BUTTS TO TIMBUCKTOO.
3) Battle your Legendary that you can catch.
4) Battle your angagonist rival, who has the legendary pokemon that's not on your boxart. You also have the option of using the Legendary you just caught, despite if you have more than 6 pokemon.

After the Game:
1) Find all the sages I mentioned above.
2) BUKOOS of Legendary pokemon
3) Battle Subway
4) Champion Cynthia makes her triumphint return. BATTLE TIMEZ. [She will kick your royal ass to the moon if you're not ready.]
5) Rematch the elite four in their repaired castle. You actually get to battle the champion this time.
6) Can you say 649 collectible pokemon?

Awesome game feature:
1) Run/Walk is FAST.
2) Battles are FAST and smooth.
3) No more constant weather reminders each round.
4) There is only ONE pokemon that is utter suckage stats-wise. All the other pokemon either have AMAZING moves or AMAZING stats or an AMAZING ability. Nothing is excudable except alvin the pissed off chipmunk.

My game of the year. The only POSSIBLE contender to it is Infamous 2.
But holy shit... This game has totally revamped and remade Pokemon. Besides the fact that it's so damn SERIOUS.
