I forgot to comment about how I felt about both seasons of Kaliedo Star. I finished up the anime about a week ago.
Pros:
1) GREAT story and great series. One of my favorites and I'm dying to edit with it.
2) GREAT characters. Great artistic style and fantastic scenes.
3) BEST ENDING TO A SERIES EVER.
1) Too much "SORA YOU MUST PROVE YOURSELF EVEN THOUGH WE KNOW THAT YOU ARE THE BEST THING EVER"
2) The voice acting for Leyla and Ken were TERRIBLE. I mean, we're talking Godzilla bad here. Leyla had ZERO emotion at all during the entire series, and Ken just DID NOT fit his actor at all.
3) Season 2 needed to shut the fuck up about Sora. It's like she took 10 steps back after the Grand Move in terms of confidence/personality. Stupid Leyla. >:/
4) Leon/Mey were fantastic characters. Leon especially was one of my favorites, but they needed to grow FASTER then they did.
5) The episodes involving the Circus Festival needed to be cut. That was just the WORST arc ever. Glad to see more of Yuri though. I liked him, even in season 1.

I also forgot to comment about Princess Tutu!
Great visual style, but I didn't enjoy 3/4s of it. It was really empty until the very end when SHIT GOT REAL. Great scenes and great artistic style, which was fun to watch, but I thought the writing was terrible at the beginning, and the voice acting needed a re-haul for the English cast. Had they slowed down on the Heart shard collecting, focused more on the central characters and had a LITTLE more backstory, I would have liked it a lot more.
But on the whole... I didn't like it. At all. >:/

Big Windup was FANTASTIC, but it's like Fruits Basket. AS much as I LOVED IT and wanted to see the rest of it, it's only one season and stops before it actually ends. BASTARDS. >:/

B is for Budgeting

IT IS AN IMPORTANT THING TO DO.
A business was just "airballing" how much they were throwing out, and they lost nearly XXXX dollars last month.
As such, my assignment [from work, not school] was to make a budget for this same business. It was actually REALLY fun.
I honestly think that the invention of Debit/Credit cards are the WORST thing to ever happen to people. It easy to swipe a card, but it's harder to give out cash.
Although I'm sure they're going to be pissed at me when they come in tomorrow and have me explain why spending over $500 on fast food for their employees is a bad idea. :sweat:
But I think they'll like the fact that I'm reducing their expenses by about 1/2. Well, if my boss signs off on it, which I hope he does. :D

It's so... Oddly... Addicting....
Then again, my VGM soundtrack collection is ridiculously huge, so I go through obsessions quickly.
That being said, it makes me want to edit to some of these old songs. But nothing I have would fit it. ;____;
Maybe Grave of the Firelies and 'I don't want to set the world on fire".
What? Too obvious?

Starting tomorrow at 5 PM, I'm going into GAMING MARATHON MODE. Spring break will be me catching up on my games that I've missed out on. Fallout 3 GOTY, Epic Mickey, Pokemon B/W and definitely Okami.
