At my anime club yesterday:
Me: Oh, you watching the new version of Evangelion tonight?
Freshman#1: They have old versions?
Freshman#2: SRYSL?
Me: You mean you've never seen the old stuff?!?!
/goes and pulls out my relic Evangelion collection
Freshman#1: Oh dude... Those graphics look TERRIBLE.
Freshman#2: SRYSLY!
Freshman#1: No thanks, we'll just stick with these.
/murders these two freshman violently

Seriously though, is this the attitude that people are getting nowadays? If it's no blu-ray and shiny that it's crap? Granted, most of my collection [80%] is post 1990, but I still love the classics.
Speaking of which, I really need to get to watching the anime on my back catalog.
I watched Lain after I finished my AMV, and it royally fucked with my head, so I'm trying to recover. >_>'
