Got paid earlier this morning.
Getting paid again the 20th for my other job, which will be close to 300 dollars.
I digress.
School starts in 4 days. I'm ready, mostly because I'm sick of being at home all the time. -
Long Work Day & More Computer Issues

Ok, so I went to work at 8:00 this morning, as was there until 7:00 tonight. It wasn't bad, cuz I'm getting paid 8 bucks an hour, and my terminal got moved into a corner, away from all the chatty people at the newspaper. Love InDesign on my new iMac. ^_^
Well, my computer's video card is once again lagging, after a day or two of working perfectly. So, I spend 50 bucks to the repair shop for nothing! Once again, editing it at a stand still.... Sigh* I'm never going to finish my video at this rate! It's a lovely Furuba (Fruits Basket) video I entered into the Donator's Forum Iron Chef. I've been trying to clean it up, but my editor can't keep up with my video card. X_X
Oh, and if you didn't know, one of the members from my MEP, Clow's Collection, released a video that was made full length from the segment she turned in. Computer Is Back, But....

Ok, I will NEVER use that computer repair service again. They got my computer's video card working, but they destroyed my modem and bluetooth USB port. I mean, they pysically destroyed them. I told them they better pay for the damages, but then they went and waved some fancy lawyer in my (and my parents) face, saying they'd take it to court, if it went there.
Damn them..
50 Dollar Repair Job + 40 Dollar Modem + 30 Dollar Bluetooth USB = Priceless
Needless to say, my ability to buy a new monitor has flown out the coop. So I'm now very sad. X_X

Well, I finally gave in. My video card refused to work, so I shucked out the money and sent it to the local repair shop. By the time I sent it, my screen was pure fuzz.
*cries*
On a lighter note, I just got back from Branson, MO, which was a unique experience. My mother, bless her heart, thinks I'm a nerd. Well, I am, but who says she can judge me! O_O
Anyway, she basically got me a whole new warddrobe from American Eagle and Aeropostal. While I have nothing against these stores (I love Aeropostal), she tried ever so hard to get me to buy what she thought was "cool" and "hip". She has this insane obsession with making me popular for my senior year. X_X
I digress.
My friend (who in an earlier entry, I said attemped suicide) is doing much better. She's moved out of her home (which was part of the problem TTYTT, her parents were alcholoics), and moved in with another friend of mine. Ever since then, she's been really happy. Her birthday (next week) will be a huge surprise party from all of her friends at a local park & dam. I get the lovely pleasure of hooking up a giant projection machine & stero system at the small theater in the park, and getting our home-made movie (AMV editing does have its perks) playing. Since everyone there is going to be seniors, we're all going to sit down and also plan a first day back breakfast, which I'm sure I'm going to have to cook for (damn my amazing culinary art!) with several of my buddies..
Anyway, school starts a week from tomorrow, and I'm ready for it to get underway. Why? Well, simply because I miss the lunchtime period I spend in a tech lab watching anime on a projector. Last year, we finished about 3 series, and this year we plan on finishing more than that (we started it late in the year). Our first one is going to be Death Note, which my friends have yet to see (but I have!).
WOW. Long entry. Well, this lets me give off some steam, so I'll leave it at this.
