Rain Rain Go Away, Come Again Another Day

I remember when godix was complaining about the rain in Arkansas. I never really thought about it until now, but from and outsider's view, he's right.
It has rained for 6 days straight here, and the rain is pelting the crap out of my town. I'd always been used to it I guess, but from an outsider's view, I guess I can understand the annoyance. =O

Today we recieved our Graduation Cap and Gowns, as well our our invitations. It was kind of sad realizing that we only have 5 weeks left. :_(
Oh, and more happy news is that I found a prom date! We've been friends for a long time, and we both wanted to go (the After-Prom our church hosts gives out great prizes, like flat-widescreen TV's and Xbox 360's and similar stuff). So, now I'm broke after renting my tux, buying our flowers and getting a reservation at a nice restaraunt. :_(

School today was relatively interesting. Probably more so in AP Government and our debate we are going to have tomorrow over the 2nd Amendment in the United States Constitution. Naturally, I'm on the side of Gun-Regulation, and I've got several shocking points.
In the three most devestating school shootings in America (Virgina Tech/Unversity of Texas/Columbine) all of the shooters had easy acess or the ability to mass purchase the weapons they needed stating that they were "going hunting" or "for safety". I'm all for the ability for Americans to have guns, Lord knows what would happen if we didn't, I just think there should be some more regulation over this stuff. :O

I'm also really excited about a party I'm hosting. My lunch club in our school's tech lab has finally decided to get together and have a massive LAN Party at my house. It will be about 10-15 of my closest friends and we're spending an entire Saturday gaming on Halo 2/3 and COD4. We're still fine tuning it all, but it's just nice to finally have some friends over. I've always been some what of an introvert, but it's nice to crack open that shell every now and then. ^_^

Ok, remember a few journal entries ago when I was talking about my buggy computer and the fact that I would have to re-install reformat the OS?
Well, today my computer finally just gave up. It refuses to open any application whatsoever, and my internet is royally screwed up (downstairs on the family computer ATM). Blah. Not what I wanted right now.
So needless to say I am moving massive amounts of files onto my external hard drive and I am in the process and totally reformatting the damn thing. Only thing is, I can't find my OS disk or my drivers disks, and I'm getting royally pissed.
So, yah, Yue I can feel your pain.
