I got my diploma tonight. My speech went really well, though I was really nervous through the whole thing. XD
Annnnd.... Well... Let me tell you something. It's a wonderful feeling having high school behind me now. No more of the "drama" in high school. Now all I have to deal with is the "drama" in real life. XD
Our guest speaker tonight really made me think a lot. The play that is my life is written by me, and not anybody else. Therefore, I can safely say that I believe that my future will be bright now. I have about three months until I move out of my house, and in that time I plan on preparing myself for the next four years of college.
I've really been doing a lot of thinking also about life in general. It sucks that we all have to die in the end. I keep reading the "Twilight" series, and I'm constantly jealous of the Cullen family, who can live forever together, for eternity. My faith (Christianity) has always (and still does) make me believe in eternal life after death. It just hurts sometimes that I have to realize that most things I do in my life is virtually meaningless. I want to do something, then, that makes me happy in my life. That's the thing though.... I have no clue what makes me happy. I love reading. It makes me the happiest, I think. After that probably is music. Followed by my AMV hobby. Nothing, however, in there is relevant to a career. In terms of most things, I think I would be happiest being a teacher. However, it sucks because they don't make much pay. Tomorrow I meet with my college advisor. I'm going to ask about being a college professor, and what that would involve me doing. I think they make more than mainstream teachers, so I might go for that road. If it's too long and complicated, however, I might aim at teaching high school. I know all I have to do is have faith that God will guide me. It's hard, sometimes, to have faith though. :_(
I've aquired a small fortune over the last two days too. I've gotten about 1200 dollars in cash/checks, as well as my new workstation laptop (Dell Compact Inspirton 1420). Not to mention I got a new flat-widescreen television from my parents (thought that is just because they got a new tv for my dad's birthday). I also got a 1000 dollar scholarship this week from a local bank, which is money in my pocket. My college also has given me a full tuitiion/room&board scholarship, so I'm fine (so far) in the finances category. I start college August 20, and move into the dorms August 16. I'm slightly nervous about tomororw, because I want to get the classes I want (with specific teachers).
It's really hot here in Arkansas right now too. We hit some high temps here, and we still don't have air conditioning (we had it fixed, but it busted again, so we're waiting until next week for a part to get in).
Anyway, I've really ranted today. I hope everything works out for me.
Also, I still need a few more beta testers! I've gotten 4, but would like a wide variety of members to view this one! -

Tonight is my graduation. I have my salutatorian speech tonight, and I'm really nervous about it. I also give the benediction (opening prayer), and I'm really nervous about that! XD
I'm hoping I don't totally screw up.
I know that I've been kind of lazy in giving opinions/beta feedback, but I will be back soon! -

I love having this week off before graduation. =O
I'm able to recover from the horrors of high school just in time to get ready to go to on vacation (this year, my family and I are going to St. Louis, with a trip holding 10 people!).
Anyway, I need to be editing, but I've just bascially slept and been lazy today and yesterday. I've got opinions to give out too. Anyway, I should probably be at work right now, but I just really don't want to go yet. :
I'd also like to say that I'm about to really start, (and FINISH!) an AMV project. I've gotten most of the footage ripped over the past year (various different failed projects). All that's left is to compose. It is the re-enactment of the scene in Lion King, where Simba and Nala are talking/acting during the "can you feel the love tonight" scene. I'm casting Tohru as Nala, Kyo as Simba, Timon as Ayame and Pumba as Shigure. I've had this idea for a long time now, so I'm hoping that the execution is really well done.
Also, I would like to point out several things. Adobe Photoshop CS3 is really nice. Adobe Premer Pro CS3 is a big pile of poo-poo waffles. >_< So when I get my laptop (new editing rig, whoo hoo), I'm downgrading that to probably 1.5, beacuse out of the three adobe premiers I have, 1.5 is the most stable and dependable, IMHO. Though I love some of the stuff in CS3 too. Didja know that CS3 Premier Pro can edit with MP4 files? Has saved me a TON of disk space in the long run.
Anywhoo, I'm sort of ranting now.
Weather here is getting unbearably hot, as it usually is here in the summer.
My throat is killing me, which it usually is this time of year.
I made a C on my Calculus final. :
I bombed the AP Chemistry test (Which was hard as hell) :

In other news, I am going to my advisor meeting for college on wednesday of next week to pick out my classes and get my ID and other junk. I'm looking forward to the whole thing, although the meeting is roughtly fou hours long. :
