I Hate My House
2008-06-16 22:46:27
Our electiricty is out until tomorrow morning. Everything surged, and my gamecube is officially bricked because of it. My dad's computer too, but I really don't care about that (I don't use it). BLah. Now I'm stuck at my grandparents until tomorrow, and I'm stuck with my annoying cousin that I wish was not here.
BLARHEGHEALDFJAFDHALDFHADLFHADBFABAHLAH
That's my annoying vent towards Vista. I was planning on reinstalling XP because I'm fed up with Vista, but Vista won't let me because it refuses to read the SATA hard drive. Thus, making it impossible for me to fix it. Sure, I could probably do a bunch of illegal things to get it to work, but I hate doing that. :O
Moving on.... I found out the people who are going to be in my college classes. Two people I knew from high school, and my best friend are in ONE class of mine. Everything else is strangers. I like that. ^_^
Find out my roommate and dorm assignment TOMORROW! WEWT!
Move in on Aug. 16, which I am so badly desiring. I can't wait for the "college experience". I know, I know, it's going to be hard, but studying seems to be the only thing I'm geniunely good at. Oh, and I should get my AP results any day now. I think anyway. :O
Oh, and I'm thinking about swiching to Vegas as an editing machine. I've had it on my computer for several months now, thanks to my job at the newspaper and me making them an online ad for our website, and me not telling them I had premier already. I'm thinking about testing it out tonight, when I attempt to do my WAFV track. Yayz? :O

Dullness and Slog?
2008-06-15 16:13:38
Won't have any of that today! HAhahahahaha.... ha....
Anyway, today is fathers day, which is a rather awkward day for me. My biological father and step father are both really great guys. Ok, so my bio-dad drinks a lot and I don't like that, but what can you do? The only slight issue is that my mother hates my bio-dad's guts. So I't not like I can do much for the guy besides call him (which I've already done), and promise to see him on Wednesday. I love my step-dad, it's just always awkward being around him. I mean, seriously, him and I are polar opposites. He likes cars and sports and spending gobs of money fixing up cars, and I like video games, anime and reading. We just don't really connect. But he's really a cool guy, so I can't complain a bit. Anyway, every father's day it's always like this, so it wasn't like I was expecting anything different. :/
Anyway, my whole mother's family is getting together at my uncle's house for swimming, eating and celebration for father's day. I really need to stop celebrating so much with this family, because I'm getting fatter and fatter each day, and I don't get much excersize because I work. But my house's pool finally is open (our automated clorinator was off, and it wasn't safe to swim in it), so I should be good now.
Oh, and my grandmother's birtday was Friday. She always has a fun time with the fact that her actual brith was on a Friday the 13th. :O

Chainsaws are Fecking Annoying
2008-06-14 01:42:17
Seriously, I hate the chainsaws in Resident Evil 4. I got de-headed at least 5 times before I decided to run for my dear life. Oh, and may Ashley die a horrible death in her annoyance. :/
************
Uh.. More rain, severe thunderstorms and severe winds causing more damage here. Then again, it's Friday the 13th, so I really wasn't expecting anything else. Blah....... >_<
I went and got my meningitius shot today. I was slightly nervous, as the lady was old, frail and had a notepad she was reading. I said hello, and she replied (in a totally serious voice) "just a minute hun, I haven't done one of these in a while, I need to read up on how it's done". O_O Luckily, she got it right, but I was still slightly nervous she was going to give me some sort of wrong shot. :O
I have a new blog. It's nothing special, but I plan to update it daily with new stuff each day. Link: http://codechronorantsandraves.blogspot.com/ (it updates every night around midnight)
I am currently looking into other careers and doing serious research regarding salary, amount of time in school, yada yada. :O So far, nothing revolutionary or eye catching.
I digress. Nothing really interesting with my life today. I'm still in the whole emo angsty stage right now, but it's getting better every day. :)

Moving on....

*shoots Melle*
That was one hell of an ending! Twas one of the best I've ever seen! Beat the hell out of the Persona III FES ending. >:( Are you sure you got the right ending?

Totally different gaming direction now. I finally broke down and bought Resident Evil IV finally. I usually hate games that have me killing people (even evil zombie people), but after my buddy showed me some gameplay footage, I went out and bought the PS2 version (Gamestop's having a sale right now, so I got it for like 7 bucks). Started it up, saw the lady with the pitchfork in her head and almost stopped playing. But I kept going, thinking it had to be better. And to be honest, it really did! Once yout get something other than the retarded pistol/knife, it really gets fun. Although I ran out of ammo at one point, and had to kill all the zombies with my knife. That is not fun. :( But to be honest, it is really amazing that I keep playing. FPS's and me have this thing where I don't play them (with the exception of Halo and COD4). Although it did get Game of the Year, so this shouldn't be a surprise. >_<

Moving on!
Personally, I'm doing much better now. I still haven't figured out much to do future-wise, but I'm hoping my current idea sticks for the next couple of months. :)
I kind of think I want to be an English Teacher.
It's something I really enjoy. Reading is my passion before everything else. I frequently helped my friends with research papers, and I love reading/reviewing things.
I think I've explained how my mother is a teacher and hates the idea of me being a teacher, but I find it one of the best careers to jump into. In my area, teachers are few and far inbetween, so I can probably get hired straight out of college. Heck, for that matter, I could move out of state and get a job somewhere else! :)
I'm still thinking of Atlanta. It's somewhere I've reall wanted to live at for quite a while now. I'm planning on attending AWA next year, so maybe I'll get an idea of if it's where I want to go. :) That or somewhere up north like in Washington. I like the idea of the sun never shining. I like dark and dreary days the best. You know, where it rains virtually every day.
