A Break

I'm taking a break from the AMV communitty for a while. I probably won't be posting questions/answers/opinions for a while. There are a lot of things I need to figure out now, and AMV's have taken a backburner.
There are a few MEPs that I'm still going to dedicate myself to, but I won't be in contact for quite a while. I'm ditching MSN and AIM for a while too. I start college in one month, and there are a lot of things I need to figure out.

Fourth of July

Well, it was a nice day to be had by all. My uncle was released from the hospital today, and is currently on bedrest.
We ate a lot of food, drank a lot of tea, and played a lot of Rock Band (it was funny watching my mother play drums). Fun times. :)
I got my car today on ebay. :) It's a 1999 Mustang GT, and it's royal blue. It looks nice and I can't wait to get it here. It'll be about five days until it gets here, since I bought it in Ohio. I can't wait. :O

This day didn't go well. :(
First off, my Uncle Bruce had a heart attack this morning. He was med-flighted to the Arkansas Heart Hospital, but now is in "stable" condition. He has an ulcer in his heart, and now has a lot of things to change. He can no longer drink alchohol, smoke or do stressful things. This is bad, because he's an alchoholic and addicted to smoking. *sigh* This is going to be a rough couple of months.
Well, anyway, my parents and all my other aunts/uncles left their kids with me today to babysit while they went to the hospital. Now, I'm all for helping out people in need, but there was a little "drama" while I was watching them. One of the little girls (just starting to get really hormonal and has self-esteem issues) told another little girl that she was a "better cheerleader and better dancer" than her. Thus, feelings were hurt, tantrums were thrown, and parents were called. Ugh. The other kids were good though, which was a relief. :/
I'm tired and thus going to bed. -

I got Rockband today for the Wii. The lack of character creations and the 170 dollar price tag is annoying, but it's still fun. :O
I am dissapointed in the Zero Punctuation for this week. It's just attacking the CAD webcomic, and I was hoping for an actual game review. *sigh* Oh well, I'll just wait for next week.
Blarg. I'm hitting the bed early. Tired....

Also, I've been sadly reading up on the author of one of my favorite Webcomics, CAD. It's just really sad that a person can act that way towards his own fans. :/ -

My buddy broke up with his girlfriend. He didn't take it very well. H's really upset about the whole thing. Basically, it ended because he wasn't a Jehova's Witness. His girlfriend couldn't be with him because of that. It really makes me upset to see such things. I had hoped humanity had evolved beyond this level by now. But whatever, it really doesn't concern me in the long run of things anyway.
With the Xbox360 price drop coming up in the next week, I'm going to grab me a console and some of the games I've been dying to play for months now. Heck, I might even sell a few games and get it cheaper. I think the first game I'll grab is probably Mass Effect or Assasin's Creed.
Metal Gear Solid 2's ending sucked. Seriously. It left me with more questions than answers.. Bah! *gets ready for MGS3*
I found Nausicca on DVD today for 5 bucks at a garage sale. yay! :O
