So what's in store for us in the wonderful world of "The Lip Flapper"?
Well here's a sneak peek!
January: January is the month of "techniques and community". I speak with 3 editors on their varying techniques, as well as their ties to the community (new ties and old ties). I also do a group discussion on the lip flap technique, as well as a youtube VS the org discussion.
February: February is the month of "romance". I sit down with 2 fantastic romance editors and see how the masters do it, and talk with the community about the aspects of a good romance amv, as well as their take on fanservice. It's the month of love, hearts and boobs.

Goals for 2012:
1) Live through tax season
2) Try not to drag grades through the shitter again.
3) GRADUATE!
4) Run Project Editor more effectively and with more fun theme that people actually enjoy.
5) Make a dance video.
6) Make a fanservice video.
7) Lose 50 lbs
8) Payoff remaining debts.
9) Move out!
10) Get a dog. A bull-mastiff. ^_^

I'm a little frustrated at work. For more than one reason.
I don't know. Maybe it's just the nerves of realizing that I'm about to be in the real world, and I'm just jittery, but it's just nerve-wracking. -
L is for Learned

Things I learned in 2011 (related to AMVs and anime) and 100 of them! Its Journal MEME time! I got tagged and didn't want to do it on facebook, so I did it here instead.

1) I will never use blurs again. EVER.
2) Masking with AE and the right footage is a godsend, and photoshop can suck it.
3) Masking AE and the wrong footage is hell. PHOTOSHOP. SAVE ME.
4) I will likely NEVER edit action again. Maybe "draction" (dramatic action), but never soly action again.
5) Taylor Swift is the only thing I'm known for. xD
6) Backstreet Boys are making one hell of a comeback.
7) Japanese people flack.
8) Cross/fade is becoming the new Judgeholden.
9) Judgeholden is still underrated and needs a freaking VCA.
10) drewaconclusion continues to surprise me with all of his amvs.
11) NS needs to make "Da Sound" in 2012.
12) Lensflares aren't outdated (Thanks Kiarrens!)
13) Jadecharm is the goddess of dance videos. Shin-AMV is the god of dance videos. THEY NEED TO COLLAB.
14) K-ON has officially replaced Haurhi/Lucky Star. THANK GOD.
15) Rider4Z needs to edit more Nightwish.
16) Fay-Sa and Warlike Swans need to merge their Madoka videos and create the Madoka-God of all Madoka AMVs.
17) Hagaren Viper continues to be inconsistent and edit something new every year. And for this, we thank you.
18) JubJub2 needs to edit again. ;____________;
19) 1 only watched ONE Horror video for the entire year of 2011. CAN WE PLEASE get more quality horror videos? Glitzer?
20) Haunter103 has set the bar for lip sync. As viewers, we thank you. AS editors, we want you to edit our stuff.
21) I continue to MEP whore.
22) I am a Cascada whore.
23) I blame TwilightChrono for #21 and #22
24) AMVFrance continues to make kick-ass MEPs.
25) AuN is still freaking awesome.
26) AimoAio has a lot to do with #25.
27) Magnus too. ;3
28) kireblue, TritioAFB, AimoAio, Warlike Swans, Shin-AMV, TrufflePigStudios and Insanewaya are officially my favorite beta testers.
29) Feel sorry for the poor saps in #28 who have to watch my crap.
30) Zarxrax is still awesome. [Anime Nations of the World]
31) Plus, the new Zarx Gui is pretty nice. :3
32) Odorikuruu is still my favorite dance video.
33) Jadecharm and Shin-AMV made close seconds this year to #32.
34) xDreww and AimoAio took my job as resident cheesey romance editor.

36) TritioAFB is the king of crossovers.

38) Joey actually edited romance nicely too. (Burn it all).
39) kirin is vastly under-appreciated.
40) Something Beautiful is just as entertaining to me as Jihaku.

42) Corsair continues to kick ass with effects work.
43) On that note, Re-Evolution is not sparkly effect whores. Please to be quit asking of this question to me. If my admission was any indication, effects are not the only thing they do. XD

77) Ka-Ching (my amv) was the mos disappointing response I've ever gotten from an AMV, and it's not because of the criticisms, but more-so because people took it the wrong way.
78) Selfless Regret, by contrast, had the best response ever. :3
79) SQ's AMV made me watch Jin-Roh. I actually liked it. O_o I also want to edit with it.
80) Hitman Reborn needs more love. Aimo/Kaze GET ON THIS.
81) Pwolf/Ileia make one hell of a team.

83) The lack of Angel Beats AMVs was highly disappointing this year. Only MCHY, Kireblue and The_Teknichian satisfied my need for them.
84) ibabrak did a hell of a good job on his Japan Expo video. GO WATCH IT.
85) I am ridiculously sad that the Disney MEP is ending in 2012. ;___;
86) But also happy because I can do other projects too.
