Well, I've been avoiding an update on my life. Because it's kind of been... Dismal.
I feel better than I ever have in one respect, but just miserable in others.
My heart and mind is feeling wonderful right now. I'm working towards my dream now, and everything I do is added on to my experiences, and where I can become a high school educator. Hopefully, I can get a job as soon as I get out of college, and then I can move out. My life is finally on track, and it definitly shows.
Also, since I've started Wrimo, I've really been letting my writing take a root in my life. I plan on being a novelist (published), and I hope this triology really works well. While word count is usually important, I'm about 20% done, and I have roughly 45 pages typed. :) It just feels good to have so much accomplished.
Now for the... Bad? Part I suppose. Parental units have been pretty useless lately, and we've barely exchanged words. Despite my intenions to make good with them, it's not really working. I never understand why they're not happy. Teaching is a professional career and pays relatively well compared to other jobs out there. I suppose if you groom your child for 18 years to be a doctor/lawyer/engineer/sucessful and he picks education..... Well, I'm sure you'd be dissapointed too. O-o
Oh well. I just spend most of my time in the campus library anyway. That or in my room at my desk. I did meet one interesting person though. Somebody in the library who saw me watching an AMV on my laptop, and said something like... "Hey dude! Where'd you get that?!" So I spend a good hour or so talking with this guy about anime or other stuff AMV related. It was nice to have a good conversation for once with an actual person on campus.
Although i did have a very SURPRISING twist happen to me.
I went and visited my grandmother on my biological father's side (first time seeing her in like 7 months, even though she lives like 10 minutes away from my hour). Anyway, it was just her and me (there's usually my biological father, my 5 siblings and my grandpa there), and we talked. Very interesting developments that nearly made me cry. One that my siblings actually miss me. I was shocked. O-o I was sure they hated me. Two, that my biological father has quit drinking. Sure enough, not a beer in the house. And the reason why he quit? Me! O-o I like nearly shat a brickload to hear that. Thirdly.... They all supported Obama. Now, let me qualify thish statement. My family that I live with... Hate em with a passion. I was sure that those guys were going to feel the same way. Sure enough though, they were all Obama supporters. You could ahve knocked me over with a feather. :P
Let's review now... My goals for now?
1) Get through this semester with hopefully all A's.
2) Finish Project Editor with all my brain cells in tact
3) Finish an AMV that's actually "good"
4) Not explode from waiting for TDI season two.

Go ghet it now. It's like a really good Ouran video. Very "Real Cool Club", just minus the comedy and add in the epicness factor. I'll go out on a limb a say that it's definitly one of my favorite Ouran videos, if not the favorite. It was just fun to watch over and over again! :O
