Well, I finished a quickie project (bout' 5 Weeks) for a friend today. I'm trying to get it encoded and ready to upload but its being a bish and Premier isn't letting me export it. >:(

In other news, Kris Allen (the American Idol) came home yesterday to Conway, which is only like a 20 min drive from here. I skipped going to see him at the parade for several reasons. One, because UCA still kind of freaks me out. Two, because there was reportedly about 15000 people there that weren't from Conway. Three... Well, because I really don't care about Kris Allen. I support him because he's from Arkansas, but I don't think he'll win. The show's done everything but outright said they want Adam Lambert to win. I'm sure it's a set up. Kris gets into top two and Adam gets an easy win. Plus, Adam's fangirls far outweigh Kris's.

I'm pissed too. I brought back my college books to get some cash from them. Two of them couldn't be taken because the teachers fucking changed the books they're using for their courses. There's 250 bucks I won't get back. >:(
Also, my books this semester are EXPENSIVE! The education ones are a couple hundred each, and the literature books are ridiculously high too. >.>

Good soundtrack, good characters, excellent background stories, beautiful voice acting, interesting plot and amazing voice acting (even the english ones aren't bad!).
Now, I'm just waiting for it to start sucking and crush my hopes sand dreams. :D

I found a nearly brand new complete copy of Beck Mongolian Chop Squad box set in a "used" bin at my rental store. Seriously, barely been touched and the discs are perfect. Cost me 15 bucks.

Now for today's rant. I have come full circle in my full transformation into Elliot Reed of scrubs. Today, I tripped, fell on my face and yelled in the loudest voice possible.... "FRICK!"
It was totally not expected and I am expecting my manjaina any day now. T_T
But seriously, I don't have much to complain about. I'm bored out of my mind waiting for August to get there for next semester's classes, but it's nice to be able to sleep in again. Aside from my parents driving me nuts all the time and my younger sister making want to commit suicide, I'm actually pretty happy.
I look at it this way, I suppose. Just 3 more years and I'll be able to go out into the job market (unless I screw up on my Praxis exams or fail a class or some other stupid crap). Maybe even be able to move into a different town. :D
Blah. It's not healthy that all I think about is the future. >.>
So I'm going to spend the next few days thinking of other things. Like bunnies. Or Subways. Oooh! Subways! I WANT LUNCH! /goes to town to get Subway. -

Now, a continuation of my technology problems. I got a reply back from the web hosting company and my boss. The conversations went as follows (with a little funny adlibbing on my part)
Boss: This is ridiculous! 10 MB isn't nearly enough for us! Our photos are 2 MB a piece alone when they're big enough! What do they honestly think they're doing!? Those assholes!
Company: Puh-leeeze. You can compress PDF files down enough. Baby newspapers like you are always whining about something. Boo freaking hoo.
So, needless to say, my boss was pissed when I forwarded the company's e-mail that they sent me. I got a lovely phone call from her, and she promised we would go back to our old company.
Although you know what the biggest problem is? It's hard to be taken serious when I'm only 19, still in college but still a webmaster for the paper's website. When people that want to advertise call or come in the office, they nine times out of ten will go right past me and go to my boss even though I'm competent enough to take their order and execute it within 20 minutes. BAH!
That being said, with the newspaper industry taking big hits with the sucky economy, I'm looking for other jobs at the moment. Something outside the food industry. But apparently listing "Webmaster" on a resume isn't quite impressive enough, even though I've run a front desk for a newspaper company for 4 years and I apparently don't have "enough experience".
DAMN EXPERIENCE! JUST FUCKING HIRE ME!
I wanna work at Hastings or a library. :3
