  • U is for Up 2009-05-30 01:18:51 The Pixar Movie Up is simply awesome on so many levels.

    That is all.
  • D is for Dream 2009-05-29 11:02:43 I had the strangest dream last night.

I dreamt that Youtube sent me an email explaining how they were suing me on behalf of the disney corporation for uploading one of their songs on my video.

    ...

    ..

    .

I took it as a premonition and took down all my disney based AMV's or whatever. O_o
  • R is for Really? 2009-05-24 00:21:33 It's amazing how a horrible day starting at eight in the morning can turn into a wonderful evening. I was in a spiraling cycle of depression this morning. Now...

Well, it's just odd. I went out and took a thirty minute walk out in my neighborhood right after it finished raining. This may not make sense to you non-southerners, but after it rains in Arkansas during the summer, it gets so humid outside that it's like you're walking through air that's full of water. Plus, everything fogs over and it's really eerie and quiet. So I took a walk in the hot humid air and it literally cleared my head of all the depression I was feeling. :D

So I've decided to get on a walking regime. Twice a day. Once in the early morning, once before sunset. I've gained some weight since college started, and I need to lose some weight. Freshmen fifteen? More like Freshman thirty. =|
  • O is for Ouran 2009-05-23 01:29:11 Well, I've been watching the English translation. And at first I was like.... "This is trash. Blasphemy to the series.". Then I was like.... "Well... It's not sooooo bad..." Now tonight I'm like.... "Hey. It's pretty darn cute..."

The fact of the matter is that I like the english voice actor for Haruhi. Tamaki's is ok, although I'm still trying get past the whole "Full Metal Alchemist" thing. Kaoru and Hikaru are cute. I enjoy Kyoga's voice better too... Honey's drives me crazy and Mori doesn't talk enough for me to care. Renge's I'm indifferent about.

I think the series is just good enough that I couldn't care WHO was talking during the show. :D

But the opening and closing songs raped the originals. >.>

My days are spent strangely lately. I wake up at about nine in the morning. I eat breakfast and watch my morning gameshows. I then either surf the web or play a video game. I take a nap at about one PM. I wake up at about three PM and read a book. I go to bed at about midnight and start the cycle over again.

My life is just soooooooo boring. I can't hardly stand it anymore. I've applied for like 5 jobs but gotten blown off on ALL of them. "We weren't looking for anybody right now". "We'd like to move in a different direction" "Not enough experience".

Damn it. I've spent four years in a Newspaper. Writing columns, managing a website, playing secretary on weekends and when they call me in. How is that not enough damn experience?

I guess I am a little grateful for the job I have there... It just doesn't pay enough and I don't work enough hours. The paper is suffering because of the state of the economy, and we've had to cut back a lot. So my job got the shaft because the boss wants their own family to rank in the same number of hours. I barely make a hundred bucks every two weeks on payday now a days. I used to clear at least two hundred fifty.

It's just irritating I suppose. I was used to a pretty lavish lifestyle. My life is already easy enough getting everything paid for, so my job was just my own spending money, with the exception of when I get my own gas for my own personal excursions. I feel bad for complaining, but I was really saving up for when I move out when I graduate from college. I need my own funds for that... And now it's just gone...

    _____________-

    I've whined enough for tonight.

Oh, except for the fact that since I've come home for college I've gained ten pounds by just sitting on my butt. I need to get out the treadmill. I've always been overweight, but I don't want to let myself go too bad. >.>

About Susan G Komen (From their website www.komen.org)

Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments, and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation. That concern for others continued even as Susan neared the end of her fight. Moved by Susan’s compassion for others and committed to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.

That promise is now Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1 billion since inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, we’re working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®, and generous contributions from our partners, sponsors and fellow supporters, we have become the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world.
