  • H is for Has it Been This Long? 2009-07-10 04:32:55 Honestly, what's wrong with me? Journal entries were like a huge part of my life back in the day. O-o

    Anyway...

    Production of Project Editor Round 2 is underway. Again. O-o Mirky gave me all the original clips, so I'm very happy that things are going nicely. They converted nicely to a proper format, but something else came up...

    I'm an amatuer web design artist, and I just got a commission from a fucking investment group in a town about thrity minutes away from here. They saw the design I maintain for the newspaper I work for and wanted to commission me for a design. =D I'm getting nine dollars an hour [a vast underpayment], but happy to have the extra work. Which is good because I need a new fucking computer. =/

    Seriously, my laptop fucks up, my desktop crashes and burns [faulty power source fried the motherboard AND harddrive], and now my laptop is fucking up again. But luckily, its hanging in there for me until I get a new one. =D

    And i'm buying a good one. I'm sick of building my computers only to get them screwing up every few months. I'm heading to Newegg [Thanks sanchez] to grab my loverly.

    Oh, and maybe I'll have enough to buy a certain something else. =D 
  • S is for Season Two 2009-06-30 01:14:52 Where the crap did season two of Kaleido Star come from? Definitly not from the same imagination as season one was... Totally NOT what I was expecting... Eh... It was still a good series, but it died on itself a few too many times...

    Now.. I can either start Clannad again or I can hit it in the realm of something different.

    After seeing Moonie's newest video I feel like watching Princess Tutu... =D  
  • G is for Garsh Darn Genius 2009-06-28 11:43:32 I'm a gosh darn genius. =D Well... Not really, but you know what I mean. =D

    Anyway, I probably mentioned somewhere that my laptop totally buggered out and was doing really weird stuff. The keyboard was fried and kept doing weird things. When I pressed the L button it would lock, and other junk like that.

    So, while I got my desktop upgraded and running, I was running every possible program to see what was wrong with it.

    Well, by sheer luck of the devil, my keylogger prorgram noticed something odd...

    The windows key was being hit. A lot. It would come in sprastic blasts here and there.

    So, using a key relocator program, I disabled the windows key.

    That wasn't the only problem, however... My numbers on the top row didn't work either.

    Well, until I get a USB keyboard, I've re-assigned the numbers to various keys I don't use. Several of the "f" keys, and the pgup pgdown keys and other related keys.

    Yet another lovely area of computer expertise I've added to my repertoire. =D It's amazing how much you learn just working with a computer every day of your life.

    Also, I'm very happy because another forum I frequent, the speed gamers, is doing extremely well with its charity raising. They've made over thirty two thousand dollars now, and the final fantasy gaming charity marathon is starting in mid July. We're expecting to hit over the fifty thousand mark.

    Oh, and I get paid this week. Considering my bank balance is zero dollars thanks to stupid books and stupid college fees, I'm hoping for some income quickly. T_T 
  • B is for Bastard 2009-06-26 22:38:35 Wow. Yui is an evil bastard... O_o WTF?!!?!?!?!?! That just came out of left field for me. I was expecting SOME sort of drama towards the end, but that was just overkill.

    I'll start season two shortly. Albeit, now I'm worried about where the show is going.

    Also, apparently 90% of romance/drama anime is sexist. What a fun fact! =D /sarcasm 
  • D is for Dropping 2009-06-24 22:12:27 Sorry Haster, but I'm dropped Clannad for the moment. I can't handle anything sad like that right now. Maybe in the future, but right now... No...

    In other news, I just started watching Kaleido Star and it's fantastic. =D

    Although I'm sick of Sora having to "prove" herself every other episode when it's obvious that she's fabulous. Oh, and blondie can go jump off a cliff. >=|

    Also, I'm seriously considering leaving Arkansas as soon as college is over. There's just nothing here for me anymore. After visiting Arizona, I almost want to live there now, but my scholarship is non transferaable. I just know that I don't want to live here anymore. That became blatantly obvious today.

    Now just to find a degree that I can take with me on the road. I'm thinking accounting or something in that field.

    Also, i hate summer. X_X Makes me think too much.
