  • F is for Friendship / S is for Study 2009-09-25 11:49:24 YEah, two titles for two completely different topics I plan on discussing.

    Topic 1.... Friendship!

I have a wide division of friendships, and I actually came to write them down at last.

    1) High School Friends
    2) College Friends
    3) .org Friends
    4) Speed Gamer Friends
    5) Youtube Friends
    6) Family Friends
    7) Church Friends
    8) Club Friends

Strangely enough, I find most of them meaningless.. O_o

I mean... I never see #1's group anymore, and #2's group is people I see for barely an hour a day if that, #3-#5 are people I've never even met before [albeit, they're awesome people that I hope to one day see at a convention]. #6 is people I'm forced to interact with, #7 are people that tolerate your anime hobby one day and burn you at the stake the next day [I love them dearly, but sometimes they're just a tad nuts]. And #8 are people that just want me for my talents with Photoshop. =(

So where does that really leave me friend wise?

To be honest, nowhere. My DSi, the people on the org, and a few good friends from high school are all I have in terms of human interaction outside my family [and I can't stand my family]. O-o

A depressing note perhaps, but nonetheless it's nice to realize where the chips stand. This thought was provoked in my head once a member of my club I'm involved with asked me to give up my Saturday afternoon and help work on a project with him, when I've already worked on 3 seprate projects already. And when I politely said "no", he blew up and asked if I was "a real friend".

No. No you are not a real friend in the same terms as I am with James or Vanessa or even people on the internet. xD

    Enough rambling!

    Topic 2: Studying

I've come to realize my study habits are more like a business plan than actual studying plans. O_o

For Calculus, I take notes and class and do all the assigned homework for that week on Fridays before I head off to work [he doesn't collect until the first test, so why rush about it?].

For Economics, I take notes, pray feverishly, and cram the night before [because frankly there is no other way to study.

For Accounting, I add numbers together and go through 10 pages of federal red tape to find the answer is actually nonexistant.

Or something similar to that. O_o
  • L is for Long 2009-09-23 09:28:44 Today is going to be a long day. >.>

Calculus in the morning [hopefully we get our tests back], Economics test right after that, I have a meeting to go to, I have a website to finish designing a rough beta of, I have a small amount of work to do at work, and I have Biology and lab today. Sooo much....

But then Thursday everything will be all right, because I only have one class. =D

Then Friday's homecoming ball game at my old high school [I love my new gig as sportswriter!].

Then the weekend? Sleep. And lots of it. Maybe a movie Marathon. Studio Ghibli sounds nice.... =D

Ugh. I'm just typing this all up to blow off time and stress before I head out the door.

Oh, and I hada random occurance on MSN the other night.

An e-mail address [one that I can't find ANYWHERE on this site or on the other sites I frequent] asked to be added to my contacts. Thinking it was either somebody from the org or TSG, I clicked accept.

I then got the following messages:

Zwibli: dood, are u liek a gay jew or sumthing?
    Zwibli: bekause u suk...

    /block

    O_O

Has anybody else had odd MSN people just pop up out of nowhere like that before? But if you're someone this site that asked those things, I am neither a homosexual nor am I Jewish. I hope that answers your question. =/

It also helped me learn that I should from now on check out who these people are before accepting. >.>
