  • P is for Plataeu 2009-10-19 14:13:14 Bahhhh. I finally hit a damn plataeu at 35 pounds. I can't get past it to save my life.

    I've gone up to an hour of excersizing, increased my water intake and have started lifting weights at home!

    My metabolism hates me. =/

    But in all seriousness, guy07 happily pointed out something I thought was rather obvious by now. I'm a wuss. xD

    I'm not Mr. Manly Man. My voice [as hunter will be so lovingly like to remind me on a daily basis] doesn't allow it.

    I don't get into fights, I don't hit walls when I'm angry and I do not under any circumstances swear in public [just on the internet and in my tumor-filled brain full of repressed anger]. I don't get angry when people insult me, I don't get filled with HAET when my football team loses [although with the Razorbacks, that's pretty much a granted thing...], and I don't get loud and obnoxious. Nor do I get drunk, high or any of the other things associated with the Mr. Manly fratboy persona.

    Instead, I vent through writing in this journal here, going to the vent thread or yelling at people on MSN for no apparent reason. Oh, and I also start Project Editor which makes people more miserable than I ever could hope to be. :partyhat:

    But really, I'm ok with that. It's my persona, it's the way I've lived my life since I was young, and I've gotten used to it. I don't see myself living my life any other way.

    TL;DR: Code is a girly wuss, NYHAHAHAHAHAHAA!!!!

     
  • J is for Job 2009-10-17 18:29:17 I just received a job offer from one of the accounting firms in town.

    Better than that.... It's with the biggest firm in town.

    Better than that? I beat some of my seniors at my college in my same field getting it. And I'm just a sophomore.

    Better than that? I get paid DOUBLE what I'm making at the newspaper.

    I go in for final paperwork and contract signing this week, and I'll start whenever he wants me to start.

    Thank you God, my wonderful teachers, and my own hard work for getting me here! xD

     
  • R is for Realm 2009-10-16 14:33:44 The realm of my mind is an astonishing place sometimes.

    From 5AM-8:59AM my mind is in a realm of haze, my mind wandering everywhere and yet nowhere at the same time. Its here that I'm most inspired, hopeful and ready to face the day! It's here that I find inspiration in editing too.

    From9:00Am - 2:00 PM my mind is in the scholar's realm, my mind focusing only on classes, classwork and accounting principles. It put everything on hold and work only to do the best I can in the realm of academia, in order to both get a leg up when I j oin the workforce, as well as keep my full-tuition scholarship.

    From 2:01-8:00 PM, my mind is in the realm of laziness. It's here where I rest, relax and do mindless tasks that require no thought whatsoever. It's here I play video games, watch television, watch anime and other such activities. I'm worthless during these hours, so don't even try to contact my brain, because it's checked out!

    8:01-11:00 PM my mind is in the realm of stress. I stress over the challenges to overcome [homework, studying, ect] tonight, the challenges that await me the next day, the challenges that await me weeks in advance! It is here that i am most crabby and most likely to stab you with a knife. :partyhat:

    11:00-12:00AM: it is here that mind is in the realm of nothingness. I shut off my brain and go to sleep and start the cycle over all day.

    Oh, and by the way, this is an assignment I just typed out for my Business Class. Apparently psychology shit is in the business of accounting too!

    Yay. Round 1 results are up. Last night was nuts guys. We had to get a temp lock. Seriously?

    I realize that posting in the thread is fun, it's tradition, blah blah blah.. But nearly 5/6 pages of pure spam? A bit much.

    I know results day is fun/junk, but let's not go overboard in the future, mmmkay?

    Compilation will be worked on as soon as I get Hunter's audio. Which reminds me, I need to write our script.

    I don't know how... But my midterm grade in Calculus wasbrought up to an a. O_o

    I don't know if the guy just felt sorry for me, or if I genuniely earned it with a curve/shit, but it's there. Kudos to me!

    No, but seriously, I wish I had a stable relationship. The most I've ever done is just a few dates with girls that lost interest [or I lost interest], and we became "just friends".

    I dunno. Maybe I just have too high of standards.

    I just want a girl that's level-headed, slightly fan-obsessive over anime/video games, attractive yet not vain or overly high-matienince, anti-clingy and someone who has a good sense of humor.

    Which by the way, is a perfect description of Vanessa, who "my little louise" was dedicated. to. :ying:

    It has rained for 2 weeks straight here in arkansas. I'm getting a fucking arc ready. -_-

    [meanwhile, tromping about through campus is not fun, because our campus has no drainagesystems, and up to my ankles is in fucking water every day]
