Anyway, the God Damn compilation will be done when it's God damn ready. Get off my fucking back. I work 6 days a week, go to college for 17 hours worth of classes, do activities with the Accounting club. So when I get home at about 8PM at night, excuse me if I don't fucking feel like editing and would rather do homework so I can keep my fucking scholarship and graduate in 2 years in a very competitive and difficult major area! Priority wise? Editing is the last fucking thing on my list in my life. It's a hobby, not a lifestyle, and I'm not making the same damn mistake on that I did last year.

    So be patient!

What's worse is that Round 1 is almost done [about 2 hours of work away], and I still hear whining from the peanut gallery.

  • S is for Speedgamers 2009-10-30 12:47:28 The upcoming Resident Evil Marathon starts October 30th at 6:00PM and will run for 48 hours.

TheSpeedGamers have been streaming video game marathons for over a year to raise money for various charities. In total they have raised over $90,000 dollars and played 13 marathons. They have raised over $50,000 in a single marathon, and have made multiple news appearances. This marathon will be for Diabetes Research and Wellness Foundation. This charity's mission is to "help find the cure for diabetes and until that goal is achieved, to provide the care needed to combat the detrimental and life-threatening complications of this terrible disease."

During the marathon we will promoting good health habits for the trick-or-treaters. We will also have a "Pumpkin Cam", Costume contest, and much more.

We've got some big news, and will have prizes to be won.

Awesome community, awesome charities they work for, and they're just generally awesome people.

Next marathon will be the annual Pokemon Marathon.
  • J is for Jaddziadax 2009-10-26 14:17:47 Have you tried the Matsuda method for getting shinies?

If an egg is hatched from a Pokémon received from a game
originating from a language other than the language of the player's cartridge, the chances of hatching a shiny Pokémon from that egg increase. As an example, if English-language players managed to obtain a Vileplume from a Japanese language
game, then the resulting Oddish has an increased rate of being shiny.

It will not work if both Pokémon are from the same foreign language, even if it is a different language from the game; or if the player uses one of his or her own Pokémon and the Meister's Magikarp (which can be obtained in every copy of Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum as in in-game trade. This is because the Magikarp has been generated on the same game as the player's Pokémon.
    Reasoning

The chances of having a shiny Pokémon in the egg will increase to 1/2048 instead of the usual 1/8192. This increases the odds by four times by using this method, and you don't have to use that damn Poke'Radar.

  • F is for Finally 2009-10-25 15:42:26 I finally got over this nasty cold/flu/whateverthehellitwas.

I feel much better, if I ignore the still stuffy nose, which I can overlook seeing as I can now breath through my throat without being in agonizing pain.

    ____________-

Also, speaking of finally, I FINALLY seem to have encoding/scripting down after what seemed like YEARS of failing. I realized it was all my fault because I not only had export settings on Premier wrong for years, but I also had zarx settings wrong, and my avisynth script was wrong too. Sanchez did a great job teaching me avisynth, and for that I will be eternally grateful.

I've also ditched all my current projects to focus on Project Editor and Mellow. And a very special Christmas AMV. =D
