The upcoming Pokemon Marathon starts December 18th at 6:00PM and will run for 72 hours. We will be attempting to catch all 493 Pokemon this time around. We've imported a copy of Pokemon Soul Silver to help with this task.
TheSpeedGamers have been streaming video game marathons for over a year to raise money for various charities. In total they have raised over $98,000 dollars and played 14 marathons. They have raised over $50,000 in their week long Final Fantasy Marathon, and have made multiple news appearances. This upcoming marathon will be for Ally's House. This charity's is sponsored by Toby Keith (Country music singer-songwriter, record producer and actor), and their mission is to "to help Oklahoma kids with cancer and their families. Donations will be used to help these families through this difficult journey."
During the marathon we will have multiple contests to win various prizes. -

Saboteur is like an Infamous clone. A retarded Infamous clone that lost my interest 4 hours into the game with horribly repetitive gameplay, less than charming dialouge, and a messy combat system in dire need of a revamp.
*Climbing and blowing shit up with dynamite is fun. =)
*Color effect where "patiriottism=color" and "Nazi = grey?" Kickass!
*Falling 2 feet = insta kill? =(
*Shitty combat & millions of nazi soldiers gonna kill your ass? =(
*Shitty dialog out of the Oblivion book? =(
*Driving everwhere and sandbox nature? Shit. =(
It's worth playing through the first few missions and the prologue, but after that it's pretty much the same shit over and over again.
And like I said. The climbing is VERY reminiscent of infamous. The only diffrerence being that Cole could survive falls, and the main guy in this game [Sean] dies if he so much as falls off a 2 foot gutter. Sometimes realism isn't the best answer.... -

rented it tonight. First impressions are good, but they couldn't have ripped off the Gears of war blood splatter any harder.
Language is foul and seemingly uncalled for, but it gives the serious tone of the game a little light humor. oh, and French/Irish accents are fucking hilarious. xD
Hey, it's a nazi killing game. I wasn't expecting anything too deep, but I've just got my hands on it. It may surprise me...

Also, I finished Modern Warfare 2. Fucking criminally short, but 5/5'ed any day. Excellent and immersible game play, but had 9 too many "ZOMG PREDICTABLE PLOT TWISTS" and 4 too many shots to the face and knifes to the chest. But getting burned alive after a hard mission taking me nearly 12 retries was rewarding... NOT.

Also, can somebody explain to me Borderlands? The box art and Wikipedia page fails to impress me enough to rent it, but everybody went fucking nuts over it in the past here.
Also, any game suggestions would be awesome. I don't play video games during school semesters, and I have a fucking huge amount of games from August to now to play before I go back to school mid January.
