Things about Bayonetta AND No More Heroes 2 piss me off considerably.
But they're both turning into nice little gaming session.
I'm not saying its necessarily better, but No More Heroes 2 is getting a lot more play time. Mostly because Suda 51's humor and overall presentation is a lot more fun and upbeat than bayonetta.
However, I like Bayonetta's combat system better than No More Heroes 2.
That and the fact that Bayonetta's toys don't cost 15 fucking THOUSAND dollars for a trendy jacket, and nearly 100 fucking thousand for new lightsabers.

Also, for my gaming bretheren here on the site, I'd like to explain some things about my taste in video games.
I have none.
Because I play each and every game going into it genuinely WANTING to enjoy it. Based on my experiences, they go into one of these categories.
1) FUN GAMES : These are the games that get the most playtime out of me. They are games I pick up because I need to blow off steam, spend a Saturday night remembering that there are actual good games out there and that gaming isn't lost. Games in this section include: Saint's Row 2, Kingdom Hearts [All], Chrono Trigger and most notable is Earthbound. This category is where my favorite games usually go to.
2) OCD-ELIGHTFUL GAMES : These are games I play for the sole reason of having a lot of things to accomplish, thus ensuing a long playtime. You know, mostly JRPG's that have a kertrillion sidequests and tons of legendary items to snag? Persona games, Final Fantasy, The World Ends With You, Fire Emblem and Valkirya Chronicles take up resident here. These are games I play, when sitting down and going into them, I am going to get a 100% accomplish goal or die trying.
3) FRIEND GAMES : These are games that I pull out for the friends/family. Kind of self explanitory. Super Mario Bros Wii, Rock Band/GuitarHero, Modern Warfare 2 and the likes.
4) ZOMG STRESS RELIEF : These are games I pick up when I feel anger, sadness, remorse or whatnot. Games where I need a nice laugh or another world to inahbit for a few hours. No More Heroes, Pokemon and Final Fantasy X was the primary candidate in this world, and I recently added Mario x Luigi Bowser's Inside Story to this list.
5) Competitive Games : Games I play competitively online. The only one in this category is Pokemon and very rarely Modern Warfare 2.
I also snagged a job as a video game critic this semester with the school newspaper, because I got tired of writing about accounting and finance, and since I got fired from my internship, I've needed some sort of hobby.

I love all the new pokemon since Hoenn. Loved Sinnoh too. <3
And I'm sure I'll love the new gen 5 area too. :D -
G is for Gen V

It was announced this morning that a new game in the MAIN POKEMON SERIES is slated for release at the end of the year in Japan!!!!!
This has two possibilities. A remake of Ruby and Sapphire or Gen V. And based on all the rumors and the new movie merchandise, it's looking like Gen V.
To understand my joy, you have to realize that this wasn't planned for at lesat 3 more years based on all the data. For it to come out of nowhere like this makes me love Nintendo again. :D
Well, makes me love Nintendo more... IF they announce Mother 3, THEN I'll go work for them as the offiical fanboy stalker.
Hell, even a remake of Ruby/Sapphire would make me go "YAY". -

Ok, I realize that many of you don't want to shell out $12 for donator's access, but DAMN there is some funny shit going down in there right now.
Enough so that I ROFL'ed in real life.

1) Classes tomorrow are cancelled due to ice/snow/shit
2) Went to my rental store and got there just as they put both Bayonetta and No More Heroes 2 on the shelf.
3) Have all day tomorrow and all weekend to play them.
FUCKING WIN.
